With all extreme respect to Curry, I wish I understood why his career took such difficult turns later on. It seemed after the film Legend, he took fewer and fewer decent roles he was actually worthy of(and currently, fewer still). I was glad to hear he did Spamalot on stage, but does anyone have a guess to why he did even half of the rest of his later roles??

My mother, God rest her soul, told me that "Three men in a Boat" was popular in Italy amd one of her favourite comic novels, 45 years later, I am reading it and it is giving me a nostalgic dreamy state of mind. Oh, should I ever be on a boat that floats forever in a river of content.

thank you so much, i saw it on pbs when it came out. i have a copy of the first american edition of the book, it has a cloth embossed cover and gold leaves round the edges. great treasure. i have always wanted a copy of the film, so you have made my heart glad.

Lip kisses to whoever's responisible for this posting! I first saw this fine film in the early eighties as part of a pledge drive for PBS and it was love at first sight! I've been hoping for years to see it again and been forced in the interim to subsist on a third rate cassette recording I made off the telly of the audio portion only . Is it available on DVD? If it isn't, perhaps we youtubers should start a petition!

I saw this film when it first came out, I must have been 11 -it had a tremendous impact on me.

For years, I have longed to see it again, but has been impossible to find

I'm listening to it on a "books on tape" today, thought I would google, and found this.... you have made me so happy!!!
