i have a problem with this scene. why are the 8 ton dinosaurs, with 3 ton appitites, trying to eat a 100 pound girl? if they had all gone for the ape insead of consantly trying to get her, then they could've taken him down and had a 7 ton meal (with a 100 pound side dish).

@thegreatmoustachio thats exactly what i thought after this scene. sure after first seeing her i can understand why they would hunt her, but after kong steps in they would've either ran away or focus their attention on kong, instead of constantly trying to eat her. but all in all i still think this movie is a great re-imagining of a timeless classic.

I have to admit that its stupid that this big ape is not phased whatsoever by the multiple bites to the arms and whatnot. Hypothetically speaking the outcome of this fight had it been real would have been the other way around. The jaws of those V-rex's are bone crushing and flesh tearing. And fighting MULTIPLE V-rex's would render even more devastating injuries.
