Hi, I have this same external drive the 80gb version. I am unable to open Ceedo, it says "use Autorun.exe to open Ceedo manually". Can you please help me?
Seagate sucks. I used this worthless thing to backup my system but I can't get it to put all my document back on my main computer. It looks as if 29 gigs of my files are gone. Seagates website needs to be taken down as it's programed by assholes.
Seagate external drives are infamous for dying in only a few short months. Research your purchase and read the reviews concerning Seagate drives or you will end up in my situation with months of work lost to a dead hard drive. Of course you can always opt to pay anywhere from 300 to 1700 dollars for data recovery. Data recovery can be as short as a few days, or as long as a few weeks depending on where you go. Do your research; avoid Seagate external hard drives.
Thanks for adding in your own user advice! It's always good to hear from users and it's good to know that you recommend doing your research! We hope users go to digitaltrendsDOTcom to learn more about reviews of external drives and other products!
I personally use a LaCie and it has worked great so far! Thanks for watching!
