@imurguy01 Well, the thing is, he did try a lawsuit, and Derek got a lawyer to defend himself. I think the lawsuit was settled at the end with Mr. Clark feeling unsatisfied, so he did overreact, but I doubt a lawsuit is gonna settle things.

It's not derek, if you see the second promo video, you see that derek is telling Mer and Cris to hide because their is a shooter, and in this video, everyone is surprised of the shooting, so all of that in chronological order can't lead to derek being shot.

Personaly I hope it will be Owen I don't like him

Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo's contracts basically force them to do at least one more season after this - so, it won't be them.

I'm guessing some of the unpopular Mercy West characters, the former Chief, and maybe Teddy or Owen will be shot. I read on TV Guide's website that multiple *well-known* characters will die.

We know Reed and Percy aren't returning, and Ben is supposedly not returning. I'm wondering if kepner will be written out too. Those would be my nominations. I think the shooter will be Mr Clark, who won't care if he lives or dies. Der is NOT being written out. Owen is gonna have a huge PTSD moment, Der is gonna be reliving his dad being shot in fromnt of him. From what SR has said, there won't be a will they live SF like last year when we were unsure about George and Izzie

@laurafernandes74 It could be that there skills are greatly tested because of some other emergency and then this shooting occurs right when this emergency is being dealt with. You know, like two plots in one episode! Meredith could be shot, not that I want it; but it's a possibility! If any of the main characters get shot, I hope they at least don't die....
