Yes, the song you heard is the main song. But this song sung mostly by Suraiya has a slightly different melody and is full of grief and sorrow..This is in train when she finds Talat is lost in war and his ship declared as got bombed. Talat is not dead but she does not know that. Excellent movie. See other clips with Nadira I posted on same movie. Thanks

Scene also had Nadira in her one of the bset roles of subdued and strained wife of a julami manager. Leaving husband she meets Suraiya in train, accident happens. Nadira is later found with Suraiya's wedding ring. Movie has identity crisis, but great words in songs. Nadira, Suraiya, Murad, and Jagdish Sethi - all are literally perfect in movie. Waris..

Suraiya also sings this song. What a sweet dhalak..but never got recorded I suppose. Dil Ka Surur tu, Maang Ka Sindur tu, Tu Ayega Jarur Tu, Tujhi Ko bulaye meri maag ka sindur, tera bin ruth gayi..what a choice of words...Can not do without this song in my library..
