I literally just discovered you people... I've listened to three other songs... they've all been rather dark... and they have all been ABSOLUTELY AMAZING... and then I decide, "I want to see, if they can do something with a little more hope in it..." and I listen to this... all I can say is sorry... sorry I ever doubted you.
this song reminds me of an epic battle once the pressure starts rising when the music does it makes me feel like i have the advantage then it softens and i lost the battle. my fav orchastra piece
@spiritofdarkness97 Haha... there's an INCREDIBLE TV show called Wolf's Rain which has a song called "Face On", which sounds pretty much exactly like this. Watch Wolf's Rain and you'll get to see this song in action. =)
I had only ever heard the songs they performed on Britains Got Talent, and had purchased Palladio, but a friend of mine encouraged me to buy the whole album and I'm so glad I did. I've probably listened to this song on repeat at least 50 times now. Incredible.
@Amberstar369 yoko kanno used a sample of this for the song "Face On" in wolfs rain.. craig armstrong is the original artist.. technically, the wolf's rain version has a slower tempo with a slight modification (drums e.t.c.) but it's the same notes and progression..
Thank you for clearing that up cause for a second I thought Craig Armstrong was a coping son of a b****. XD All the expressions by each artist are beautiful though so I can't say it matters much who did it first as long as the music comes from the soul.
Gotta love Craig Armstrong. Escala does a great job with this song but nothing beats the original. It would be interesting to see if they could play Escape by Craig Armstrong
As skeptical as I was, I actually appreciate the vision of these women. It's great seeing a much different perspective of the great work.
As the artist is, portrayed by another artist - so do we experience seeing Craig Armstrong through the eyes and talents of Escala. A much different impression.
I am an avid Craig Armstrong fan, so usually I am skeptical of anyone who tries to mimic him. But these women deserve huge praise for quite simply, playing the song perfectly.
@TheYTChronicles agreed! See I mainly play and im normally interested in more band instruments...clarinet,tune,flute,saxophone..etc. But everytime I hear Escala..im like"AGH! <3"
Cette musique on l'a retrouve dans Britain's got Talent (lors des génériques). Rien d'étonnnant. Merci Simon pour le coup de pub dans chaque épisode de Britain's got Talent...
I agree, this song is the one that is my favorite too. It has a dreamy theme to it. I like all the others too but this is the one I will listen to most often.
I just discovered how much I love Escala's sound ("Requiem for a Tower" came on my pandora). Officially my new study playlist! ^_^

Why is there like two minutes of nothing? Pretty lame. If the song was over, the video should have been done too.

I swear, all I can think of right now is how badly I want to re-watch Wolf's Rain. Paradise, here I come!

I think Craig Armstrong stole part of this song from Yoko Kanno. Part sounds like her song, Face On, from the show Wolf's Rain.
Sorpresa03 6 months ago
@Sorpresa03 Yoko sampled Craig
ContagionofLight 5 months ago
@Sorpresa03 Nah, Yoko used a sample of this song; it was released before Wolf's Rain came out.

Craig Armstrong would be proud. Not an easy feat. Kudos to Craig Armstrong for creating this in the first place. It just gives living a beauty.
Do you see the beauty in sight as your ears do from the music?
