in WWII, America was fighting Japan, yes(of course I talk about Red Alert's version of WWII) so that explains why America didn't enter the war until late.

Why Japan wasn't fully defeated: Einstein was eliminated therefore making victory a hard fought process, so therefore a new Empire could rise, of course we're not even sure if Japan was fought because RA2 showed us Japan vs America(Iwo Jima memorial ring a bell?) but in RA3 is becomes unclear if America fought Japan.

if i had made the kerov airships i would have made them with a mechinegun to fend off enemy rocketeers or something ... afterall there really slow and cant defend themselfs against anything in the air ... and them being slow makes them easy targets for flack and sam sites
