i can't wait for animatronics to take over the big screen( it will happen with in 10-20 years) considering honda makes einstien walk and talk( alough the animatronic face is crappy). cgi is just anoyying and should only be used as a way to do somthing a animatronic can't ( like r2-d2 from starwars: phantom menace) they had to use cgi for certian shots because the animatronic would of looked weird on wires.

I'd make a slightly low pitch voice, copy and paste it into another track, and pitch the new track down. You'll get that multiple vocal cord effect.

Thanks ,This project is going on over 2 years now .And almost finished. Im filming my animatronic project and will producing the instructional video (DVDs).Ive shot 90 hours DV tape and have edited down to 4 hours so far.

Ive been wanting to do this animatronic for 20 years now.

hay i like the low gurgle but dont you think it would also be cool if it had a few high pitched yelps or pops, but right now the voice is ok but i think the tone is a bit too low. it makes it seem less real also the hair line is too strong can you glue on some lose growing hair strands so it could have a more natural looking hairline?

I'm pretty sure that's what he meant when he said that he'd be punching hair. If I'm talking on the same level that he is, punching hair is when you thread the hair through the latex/foam/whatever skin.

the only thing I've managed 2 complete is charging mi phone and that still took 13 tries until i realized that cos we were in another country it was a different socket-but its too slow. Gd luck!
