@sabrinagarr the video skips, not pauls fault and nuno better than Brian ?? yeah right, i love nuno but Brian is God and both are like a fine wine, only improve with age
Excuse fucking me i watched this when i was kid in mourning for freddie and extreme were class and did a first class job from the heart for the man so fuck antbody with a problem with this vid they obviously didnt watch that day there loss extreme are in my good books forever.thank you extreme if you ever see this you did him proud queen fans love you .
for all your ignorant people claiming that drummer Paul Geary of Extreme is off tempo to you i say this..don't talk about things you can't possibly comprehend..it is obvious that the there is a problem with the audio of this video, which is causing it to skip , almost like a scratched vinyl record..i know this because i am a drummer, sound engineer, and studio owner, and worked as a studio editor as well...so for those inexperienced, tone deaf, and rhythmically impaired,....run along now.. !
There is one fact; the crowd were gathered to celebrate Freddie on their own, no matter who came to perform. The crowd made that concert no one else with their tremendous love to the great pretender.
I was there that day and believe me it is the audio that is at fault here. Their performance was brilliant. It was one of the highlights of the day. They could have come on like Guns n Roses or Metallica and boosted their own sales by playing their own stuff but they got the meaning of the day and done fantastic versions of Queen hits.
i don't think this is a bad performance. i think everybody has in their mind the way Freddie performs these songs that they don't like the interpretations of other artists. I would much rather have these artists performing the way they think the song should go rather than try to mimic Freddie.
it's not the drummer, it's the audio fucked up, it's so obvious.. if you guys don't understand this.. well learn something about music..
btw Extreme are great and Extreme drummer used to be Mike Mangini, fastest drummer in the world (guinness record holder) and a boss in Berklee College of Music.
why did you fuck up the audio?? you ruined this amazing live performance... extreme were great, especially Nuno - his guitar work on their albums was unbelievable - what a player..
RADIO GAGA!!!! yeaah!!! that really rocks!! and all the people that ddn't like Queen... well i cant imagine what they have in their minds!!! FREDDIE MERCURY!! we will remember you forever!!!
the prob is when ppl listen to queen music they heard freddie . i can understand they are unhappy you cant replace him but they are doing this to honored greddie ... opey your eyes pls
In 1992 I was in highschool and its at this age when a lot of free time and any money I had was spent on music, concerts, etc
I remember this concert very well as I even have it on VHS. Believe me when I say it that Extreme stole the show. As Brian May said when he introduced them, Extreme, more than any other band on stage, understood Queen and Freddie Mercury.
Early 90's was a great time for music. I still wonder why U2 wasn't at the Tribute concert.
Fine. But my point is that in high school is when people have their own money FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THEIR LIFE. Understand now ? Or is it still too hard for you ?
common sense that it is a bad record ,what kinda practice that the band is speeding and slowing down suddenly ... btw, u can other clips of the same concert for better quality...
I think there is something wrong with this particular clip. It seems to skip like a CD. I don't think they are going out of time, but I can see why you think that.
@FogerRox Man, I don't know if noticed that, but probably in the processes of uploading the video, somewhere along the way the video got "skiping bugs". What I meant is that the video editing is actually wrong, not the drummer.... If you watch the original you'll see!!!
Hammer einfach nur der Hammer das war an diesem abend der beste Auftritt ich habs an diesem Abend live am TV miterlebt und ich sehe es immer wieder gerne Freddie du wirst immer in unseren Herzen sein und ewig leben
Too bad the audio is off on this....it keeps speeding up and slowing down for some reason. Damn shame because this is an AWESOME video in its normal form....Hell, what Brian May said in the introduction speaks volumes about how good a band they were...and how much they were respected by their peers.
