  • PART OF NIGERIA IS OLD BRITISH CAMEROON,THAT WITH THE REFERENDUM WENT TO NIGERIA. SO IT 'S NOT PART OF CAMEROON THAT IS NIGERIA ,IS T PART OF NIGERIA THAT IS CAMEROON!! NEVERTHELESS,WE ARE BROTHERS.WE WERE DIVIDED BY EUROPEANS.AS FOR ME,I LOVE BOTH CAMEROON AND NIGERIA. THEY ARE SO RICH IN THEIR CULTURES!!!!PEACE!!

  • Beautiful !!! Keep it up UB Choir. thnx 4 uploading.

  • i know the female lead singer Justine. we used to be 2gether in UB choir 2000-2002

    Just surprised she's still there!!!

  • No!! Part of Nigeria is Cameroon. Not the other way around.

  • I've heard part of Cameroon is Nigeria... I now know it's true... this Manyu people are Nigerians... from Ibibio/Efic

I have seen the Ibibio in their culture, tongue, rhythm, attire, dance, there is no difference here.

Though I do not understand the language but I insist... whatever may separate us... our culture will still reunite us because we can't depart from it.

  • This is very inspiration. Please can some tell us how we can get copies in America?

  • Eyom Abasi, in Ifik/ Ibibio dialect of nigeria means serch for God. I wonder if it´s same meaning in Manyu dialect. The dance moves, music rythme and attire are so same.

This indicates the close knitted socio-cultural and trade link amongs african tribes long before the greedy colonial idoits came scrambling over our resources and distroying of heritage. You may search Ibibio/ Efik music on youtube if you wish to discover on our origin...

thanks to the internet we can now bridge the gap.
