Because they relocate the waterjackets to accomodate a larger bore for a more true bore. More than a full point higher in compression ratio, NO AIRBOX with a 2.5 inch intake tube, and higher lift cams for an EVEN HIGHER compression ratio, AND even LARGER explosion for top end power. 52 peak was on the stock cams. Youre bike would be lucky to touch 36 with the mods you claim it has.

You'll have to see the setup i have on the 450 now, got the kickstart on her and she starts up a hell of a lot easier. I got the wrong cams in the first place, the decomp pin on the ex. cam was 1.6 mm, which is for the kickstart, the electric start should have a 1mm decomp pin, so i needed the kick. But yea, rockymountain is the shit.

I ride with every 450 on the daily, and ive done work to every brand of them. Ill line up to any trx with a pipe, cam, and intake and completely fuck up its world. I already have. Like i said, i dont blow smoke, the ltr with these mods is the only bike that can remind me of the power mine is producing right now

  • you dont get it do you. the trx450 can handle more modsa dn its the only 450 quad that can handle a 520 big bore kit. and fyi i go riding with a 06 yfz450 with +2 swignarm +2 a arms full ct racing exhaust hot cams 13:1 compression piston k&n air filter kit (making it so there was no air box ) and my friend chris has a 05 trx450 with full sparks exhaust hot cams and just a simple white brothers air filter. the yfz450 just bit him by half a bike length. you lie so much aobut shit.

  • Alright guys stop fighting its really annoying, and as you may know, a dirtbike takes much less power to get it goin. a fourwheeler takes more power to go because it has a larger, heavier frame. So, a dirtbike can beat a fourwheeler the next size up, beyond that, it would be difficult, unless heavily modded. Dont wanna fight, just sayin.

    250f's, not bye much, but i think they are. they are much lighter, so faster. It takes less engine in a dirtbike to get it goin. on a fourwheeler, it takes more motor because it has a havier frame. Thats why smaller size dirtbikes can beat the next size up in fourwheeler, beyond that, it would be hard to beat a 450 on a 125.
