@asderso Most of the tools in the PS tool palete have more than one tool in them......if you float your mouse over them you will see the extra tools. the polygonal lasso is in the second row, on the left side.
pokernod friend I got it, I'm a beginner in Photoshop and don't have patience, can I extrude a jpeg and make it 3d in Photoshop? What softs allow me to create planes, angles, all in motion using a simple jpeg pic, please?
@asderso Asderso friend, No. You cant make a jpeg 3D in any way in Photoshop, but I Understand what you want to do.... what your going to want to get in to is a program called Autodesk Inventor. No program will do what you want quickly or easily, but Autodesk Inventor is the closest thing to that. Find it. Buy it. Enjoy it. (or just Google it and wish you had it.) Its one of my favorite programs that I dont have time to learn. But maybe one day.
@asderso If you mean a tut for doing it for real (with a camera) it will take a special lens, start in Wikipedia for an explanation and go from there. If you mean another tutorial for PhotoShop, Im probably the first, I try to do tuts that other people havent done before. But Im sure there will be more soon.
You cant see the final results in this video because it deals with Blur, and you cant very well see blur on a crappy 3MB video. So if you havent tried it, you cant see it very well.
You can now on Photoshop CS5.. which I have.

The kind of picture you are creating in this video is called a " tilt-shift" picture. Just in case any one wanted to know.

@ProfKool Yes, Thank you. It is a simulation of the Tilt-Shift Lens effect.
