Now go back and listen to "To Sir with Love" -- that too was a lovely soulful performance, every bit as expressive as this one, and Lulu was much much younger of course (weren't we all?).
Just laughing to myself while watching these amazing artists together. That single room has got more talent than the entire list of "artists" that dominate the air waves today.
The WHOLE ensemble here just SMOLDERS. The sax solo was pure sex, Lulu's performance aural Viagra, and Becko's lead as enticing as your first French kiss.
Incidentally, this performance alone really dispels the myth that Beck is "only" a lead player (which is a bit like saying Rembrandt was "only" a painter); his comping here displays a subtlety that only a truly masterful rhythm player could offer.
I love Jeff Beck's subdued performance here. He lets others shine, plays it nice and soft. He knows it's not the time to overpower everyone. That's why he's the greatest.
I know some people relized that youtube is deleting all anime shows. pisoga(.)com is a website that has a lot of anime/movies that you can watch for free. Seriously. For free.
The singer is Lulu A Brit pop singer from the 60's. How she still looks this young more than 40 years later is beyond me. then again Beck is from the same era. Good genes?? This is from a TV special and she sang another one that was even better.
Its called makeup. Combined with good life choices maybe some plastic surgery. Agreed she still looks nice, desirable. Those of us born back then still need to live. The good life. Great tune this, mellow, smooth, timeless.
The rest of the lineup is Peter King (saxophone); Jon Cleary (piano); Ian Jennings (bass); Marc Mondesir (drums). Peter King is a stalwart of the British jazz scene and plays with Charlie Watts' (of The Rolling Stones) jazz group.

The combined talent and soul from these artists could easily surpass what the whole mainstream music today could offer.
Only 23,000 views, this should at least be in the millions if not more. It's just too heavenly.

If Jeff ever does another stint at Ronnie Scotts, a reprise of the Red, White and Blues band, singers and songs would be great.
