wow... really not that difficult guys. The part of the pants above his knees are stuffed with something to keep them straight. He's on some sort of stilts because at 58:00 you can clearly see that he's walking forward but in a sitting position. the stilts are there because at 37:00 he goes into this sitting position but manages to retain his original height. Then if you look at 1:07 you can see that his right knee is slightly bent and is much heigher up than it should be (hence the stilts)
