  • The Bionic Woman sings and Doc Severinsen is leading the band. You gotta love 70's TV!

  • love her

Hello, there! I have to respectfully disagree with you on Lee Majors. On his second ABC series 'The Fall Guy', he did a bang-up job singing the theme song. Like I pointed out with Lindsay Wagner.....it all depends on various factors. But, to each his (or her) own.

  • Yes, she did a bad job on the song she did in the episode where she went undercover in a beauty pageant. But with THIS song, she sounds good. I guess it all depends on certain factors: the genre, the melody and what notes she can hit with no problem. I mean, let's face it: some of the most popular singers and rockers don't exactly have melodic voices ---- Bob Dylan, for example.

  • Hello!

My name is Kleber and I'm Brazilian.

Here this series was very successful. Too bad it has not left here on DVD ... All that remains is to wait eagerly for it.

Thank you for sharing this video.

    Hugs.

  • Jaime was so nervous about singing in front of all the pros, but she did just fine! Lindsay has a nice voice.

  • @viewmasterboy

I agree with you. I always wondered how they were able to get those recordings on air? But on Sweet Jamie you gotta love the bass line.... classic 70s.

  • I don't like this song, but she has a great voice, I read that she was dateing Peter Frampton in 79 and working on a album,, I wonder what happened..

  • She was and still is my hero!

  • I always wondered, how come she hears faraway sounds ONLY AFTER she puts her hair behind her ear? Shouldn't she hear faraway conversations constantly? And wouldn't that drive her nuts? (I know: picky, picky...) It was a GREAT show anyway!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think she could tune it in and out, like she didnt have to hear everything constantly.

  • Now, THAT makes perfect sense! Like an internal volume control, right? It goes to show how cynical one becomes with age — in the '70s, I just enjoyed the show without questioning every little detail. If one could only go back... :( Thanks for the answer!

  • Believe me i've though about it long and hard!!

i actually find the physics of bionics fascinating.

  • Holy Crap! Not only do I love you, Leather Tuskadero (after Pinky died, you were next!) - but I've been looking for Jaime Country for years! You kick ass! (now slap your thigh and point that finger gun at me!)

  • *pow*

  • mp3 anyone?!

  • LA AMO

  • Jaime!Wir lieben dich!Einfach wunderschön gesungen!

  • I always thought Carpenter = Lindsay Wagner when i was small when Jaime sommer sings.

Her voice alike Carpenter in the 70's when both are pop in the 70's same time. GOod old childhood time. the world much peace and creative colourful then now !

  • LOVE Lindsay Wagner...The backup singer in the overalls is Nicolette Larson...RIP...

  • It's from The Bionic Woman.

  • It's called "Bionic jaime" in Japan.

  • Well i aint in Japan!

  • This is Canadian singer Ken Tobias's song. She liked it so much , she wanted to sing it on the show!

  • Cool, i didnt know that. Is it actually called "In the country", i just assumed it was.

  • No the title is: "Good To Be Alive In The Country". Ken Tobias originally recorded it on his 2nd album The Magic's In The Music on MGM. Ken was good friends with Lindsay and her boy friend (later husband) actor Michael Brandon. Lyndsay also sang the same song in the feature movie Second Wind.

  • i really dont think it matters!

  • Great memories of this wonderful show and its multi talented star. Thanks for posting.
