if you have algae problems than you can either buy one or two sucker fishes.or you when you have to change the filter pak you can wipe down the sides with those work good for me
Plant the entire gravel area maybe cover it with some low light, slow growing species like java moss under some food grade plastic mesh or some rocks and gradual propagation. Get your net in there and stir up all the crap so it doesn't set in algae hot spots. Extra filter for 24 hours after stir ups each month etc. Maybe replace your swords with java ferns - these take nutrients directly from the water rather than the substrate. Maybe a few Yomato shrimps would do you world of good. ;]
best way iis to buy a small pleco mind y ou not a big one it will eat all ur plants a small one or a chinese algae eater or the siamese flying fox these are the best i think so :d
well, if you still have the tank, what you can do is go to any fish store and they have sponges that you can buy, with plastic handles and you can clean it right off with the fish in there. Petco has them and your local fish store would most likely have them.
the aquarium kit was an aqua tech 14 gallon. i got it at walmart for 60 dollars but the price should be reduced to 40 dollars. the decor was around maybe 30-40 dollars.
