I'm not American, so I can't judge the finer points of what he's trying to put across in all aspects - not just foreign policy - but he's so fresh and honest and makes so much sense. He's polite, experienced, consistent, level-headed despite all the jeers he gets, and sticks by his principles despite open hostility like this news host expressed. I would consider voting for Ron Paul but I am an independent individual and believe that it is against my voting rights to have to register for a party. I wish Paul the best and hope that our so-called democratic process allows me that opportunity.

Iraq is a disaster, law and order are now things people connect with their former leader Saddam. An American withdrawl would no doubt much like in Anbar make the Iraqis get their act together for the post occupation era. Also no doubt blood would be spilled, but due to American incompetence and maybe even due to American plans this is now inevitiable sadly.
