what i find works best for me is making sure i get enough sleep (being tired and sleep deprived increases appetite and decreases satiation) and i drink lots of water. When i feel like i want to binge, i just grab some water(alot) ,drink, then wait 10 minutes. it has helped me soo much. after ive drank and waited, i don't feel the urge to anymore. also, whenever you're craving something sweet, just eat some fruit. something salty, eat some veggies. good luck hope i helped. also get active =]

That is great advice, Madaline. - It may be that some people need to give it 30 min. or even an hour, but the principle is great, and I know it actually does work. Taking whatever food you want to binge on and destroying it with hairspray, perfume, etc. works well, too. If you don't even have the willpower for that (like me in my worst stage of B.E.D.) then take the food you're about to eat, set it down and curl up in a ball for 10 - 20 minutes. Don't think.

My kitchen is not a kitchen anymore it's my art studio lol. You would think being in the kitchen for hours would make me wanna binge but it actually does the opposite.

If it's forced on me or if I'm led it's not ME working through it and understanding it, it's someone pulling me through. it makes for short term sucess, but long term failure. Another tip: Drink sweet tea (like strawberry tea with 2 calories), if you are craving sweets! :) Or a big salad; low cal and filling :)
