First time I heard this song I'd hit the snooze button on the radio - tuned to WSUB in NY. It was so new 'this is us' didn't get any results from google. I sat bolt upright in bed, got some coffee, and called the station. The jock on duty was less than helpfull. :( Bought the album as soon as I found it.:up:

When Mark Knopfler was a kid he told his parents he wanted to make music with a stick of butter. They told him, "Son, you can't make music with a stick of butter." So he got himself a Les Paul and showed them they were wrong.

After that he got several resonator guitars of the national brand and gibson les paul special. Then in the mid-late seventies he got a rosewood neck red strat and then a maple neck one. In 1980 he purchased 5 schecter guitars in new york.
