  • The Japanese have attacked, broken the everlasting peace treaty. Now they are on this contract referred to in the issue of the Kuril Islands. Completely ignore the results of 2 WW. Disgraceful aggressive nation. How many troubles he caused our neighbors.

  • @0Russia0 The rapist Russia isn't the adecuated one to say that...

  • @spanish111japan and what is not so does Russia?

  • @0Russia0 In war no one is a fucking hero. Everyone is a damn criminal.

  • @spanish111japan those who defended their homeland they are heroes.

  • @0Russia0 A single kill makes them an assasin, A hero by defending, an assasin by murdering.

  • @0Russia0 wow you are so stupid,, Chishima was always Japan. Sahkalin was Russian, and after the war the Russian gave it southern part of sahkalin .

  • @lachter786 Wow? what an idiot you are? The inhabitants of the Kuril Islands swore allegiance to the king in the early 18 th century with Peter 1. Japan was sitting in isolation. Then Japanese people only thought to populate Hokkaido, which was inhabited by the Ainu people. And about the Kuril Islands, Japan does not even dreamed of. Wow, yes?

  • @lachter786 But I wrote about something else. In 1905, a violation of the treaty of perpetual peace by the Japanese, who have been aggressive in the east. Now, after this, they poured us dirt, saying that we are not well received when attacked them in 1945. Well, perhaps the Soviet Union could do believe and respect this country?

  • @lachter786 Also in the mid-18 th century under Catherine 2 census was carried out of all the territories of Russia. There have been included 4 islands are now claimed by Japan. In the census was included, and Hokkaido. but realistically his status was uncertain because Japan in the south had their settlements.=)

  • To an American

    Already stop the war

  • who won the jap/ruso war?>

  • Japanese.

  • Japan..really set the stage for events some 35 years later...1.japanese had already defeated russia once, the thinking was jump on the U.S. early, maybe force a quick truce

    2. the 2 a-bombs dropped on japan were in no small part dropped to keep russia from trying to get revenge if you will on the japanese for the defeat in the russo-japan war..weird how one puzzle piece connects the others..

  • Has anyone ever said how a western countries victories set them up for defeats later? No, of course not. Saying that Japan's victories only set it up for defeat later is just stupid and very Euro-centric. Saying that is just trying to belittle the fact that for the first time since the rise of Europe at the turn of the century, an Asian power had decisivly defeated a European one in the field of battle.

  • Did Germany's victory in the Franco-Prussian war "set the stage" for their defeat in WW1? Did the USA's victories "set the stage" for it's defeat in Vietnam? No, right? So why is it when Japan defeats countries like China and Russia, they "set the stage" for it's eventual defeat in the Pacific War?

  • overconfidence in what they thought they could accomplish. the whole pacific war, against a country with the manpower and resources of the U.S. was a complete over reach.

  • But trying to tie that to a previous and unrelated war to undermine the mere thought that an Asian country could beat a European country is what irritates me. When any other country wins, it's considered a win. But when Japan wins, it's only going to set them up for a later defeat. If we looked at our own country's victories and defeats the same way, I wouldn't see anything wrong with it, but it dosen't go that way, and that's what pisses me off.

  • why would russia want revenge on japan after ww2 ? russia and the soviet unuion had very different ideas.from 1921 it was the soviet union until 1992, russo japanese war was the tsar so you saying the u.s dropped those bombs onto japan to scare the russians from wanting revenge, listen the tsar was gone no white movement the red communists could not give a fuck about japan tbh you are a dumbass you are absicly saying the tsar ruled in ww2 you need to get your facts right bet u cnt find usa on a

  • this is one angry dude who needs to read a history book thats not tilted in one direction or another.. yes, the bombs dropped on hiroshima and nagasaki were done in part to deter the USSR from any later asian invasion..thats a matter of recorded history, it's out there for anybody to look up. and where do I imply that the Tsar still ruled? I don't. But the Russian people//Russian military brass sure as hell hadn't forgotten the Russo japan war. and would have gone after japan.

  • what are you talking aboput the soviets could not care less they would only care if they were still under the rule of the tsar, they were not thats why they were communist, they intrests were with the west then thus the cold war stalin and zhukov could not care less for japan you are just making things up.

  • The USSR wished for revenge for the Russo-Japanese war late in the war, this is true. They still felt the humiliation and embarassment from European side to lose to a "weak" Asian power and wanted to bring Japan to it's knees as revenge.
