you could make a much louder system with a $20 lepai amp & by putting your speakers in boxes. i'd get 1, but the ONLY place you can get them is "scambay". class D amps can put out a lot of sound with just 8 AA batteries.
i'll build a FEW cheap "on bike" systems soon to give people ideas on how to do their own using a different class D amp module that doesn't have the cool aluminum case & blue lit volume control of the lepais soon.

was this just as a joke or something? Or are you serious about riding around with two paper speakers sitting on your handel bars running of nothing more powerful than an mp3 player...? Im not trying to have a go, but if your serious it needs a bit more work... even though it is a kinda impractical idea.

I find even proper bike radios arent very loud
so when your going any speed you cant hear them over wind noise and traffic
