The acoustics they use at the olympics is way better than the ones they're using now. Besides, the olympics has a different environment, so it will sound different...I don't know about the lipsyncing, but I doubt it. Didn't they make a rule about no lip-syncing during important international events?

Actually I'm afraid she was lip syncing... as everyone else was too. it was still her singing but it was by no means live. In that venue it'd be so hard to get things like wind and crowd cheers out of the microphones. shocking acoustics! The sound just bounces off everywhere so when you're down on the field the sound you hear is echoed back to you off the seating... very off-putting! Everyone had ear-pieces playing the track so that they could ensure they actually sang along in time.
