I was really looking forward to this phone because of the solid looking keyboard but sadly after watching many reviews here and on google i am SOOOOO put OFFFFFF its unreal. I was looking for something different to the typical iphone and thinking that finally the N900 provided some diversity but the answer is a BIG NO NO!!! Nokia i am so UPSET with you it SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have previously checked n95, 5800 and n97 and the best audio out put through headphones is n97's. now im planning to buy the n900 coze n97 is a total hardware fail. can you please let me know ur honest opinion about the sound quality of n900 through headphones. is it better than the n97? is it equal? or is it worse?

what i feel is that there can be a tie between n91 and n97 but as compared to them what is n900's sound through headphones.please let me know thanks a lot in advance.

the mic in the N900 is only mono !!! - Nokias N95 (8GB) and also the N97 both have stereo mics.

Why didn´t they keep this higher quality-standard within the N900?

Isn´t that important in terms of phone-quality as well? I don´t understand that.

The Nokia N900 has been delayed until November. Thats the official word from inside Espoo, after it loaned developers 300 devices for testing at the recent Maemo Summit.

Nokias Peter Schneider, who looks after Maemo Marketing for the mobile maven, told the chaps at N900blog that the device was still being played with by devs. He said that, This feedback is extremely important to us and as such we also want to provide the best user experience with the Nokia N900.

However i wonder why the proximity sensor is "blinking" constantly? Is that normal? i´m thinking it´s draining power, slowly, but anyway..

I think that the proximity sensor is blinking when recording a video you see this only in the video but not in reality. I say that because I've seen this in videos of the n97.

I´m thinking about buying the N900.

Could you please give me some information on audio-recording and -quality?

Does the N900 have an integrated audio-recorder?

How is the frequency - spectrum of the integrated mics? Are there one or two mics? (one cannot connect an external mic, correct?)

Is the audio-recording qaualitiy as good as in the N95 8GB?
