To surpass the iPhone would imply that it's actually anything like the iPhone at all. It isn't. Not only is the N810 not even a phone at all, but it doesn't have touch screen which is the iPhone's most recognised asset. And the iPhone of course lacks a QWERTY keyboard.
I am not at all suggesting the N810 is a bad product when taken as what it is, an "Internet tablet", but comparing it to the iPhone in any way is a complete and utter fallacy.
You could compare the iPhone to the N900, perhaps.

Yes using Kopete, Pidgin, and I think Gizmo works with that network as well (along with many others).=)

Nokia is coming out with a new internet tablet that has wimax on it. The N810 JUST came out DON'T YOU GUYS WITH THE N810 FEEL LIKE WE GOT KICKED IN THE FACE. there's no usb hosting on the n810, how are we suppose to ad an external wimax device. and we payed almost 500 bucks for it. we should have waited for the new N.. who knows and the prices would have dropped like the n800. we got raped. shame on nokia. I feel bad for the hackers that have to hack it again
