I loved this show and am all for the point that we should all help reduce what we do, but there is a major fault with this video.

Using the average of American people and using them as the measuring stick to show what an average person on the planet uses/wastes distorts the numbers so much that its invalid.

Most people in the world don't for example eat as much burgers as Americans, drinks as much soda or drive or anything really.America does most things more then other countries.

no, those are actually different things. As in, the total effect of a product and the total effect of all the materials and processes used to manufacture that product are counted separately. They have to consider the whole cycle: materials used to manufacture the product, transportation of those materials to the manufacturing site, etc
