I find this interesting since Bush stated on more than one occassion that he had actually watched the first plane hit the first tower. Just more rehearsed BS. ANYTIME America is under attack the President would immediately be removed from where ever he was and practiced procedures would come into effect to get him protected. They really must think we are all idiots!

That the place that he was at was the safest until they had a chance to organize things for a few minutes? Did it ever occur to you that they didn't want to panic the people of the country by dragging their President out of a classroom like the world was coming to an end? Did it ever occur to you that they wanted a plan of some sort before they rushed out to who knows where?

You are going to have to read your shill book of how to respond because none of what you just said makes any sense. They could have easily and politely excused themselves without causing concern. As for the President being in thesafest place well, that's ridiculous. There are practiced, rehearsed, procedures for emergency situations and their behavior would NOT be one of them. I knew this one was because of how ignorant it sounded, but that might not always be the case; you might brighten up. Cheney was at the White House. The White House may have had a plane headed for it. Put two and two together. Where Bush was was secured. They took a few minutes to make a plan based on the unfolding events. I make perfect sense to a sensible person.

@andrewinorange Personally I think it's possible that the anthrax attacks were an inside job by a group of intel agencies with the goal of planting bugs in the congress/senate offices. The anthrax mailings were just designed to clear out the buildings.

Bush's former Chief of Staff relays step by step the happenings of that day and
is incredibly detailed. But are we supposed to believe him or Bush, which tells
a different story? There's a video on here tittled "Bush Caught Lying About September 11th" Bush is seen and heard saying he saw on TV the first plane hit one of the towers before entering the classroom.
Can anyone explain this descrepency?

Andrew Card's "testimony" contradicts what Bush himself said happened that day..what sort of intelligence does the US have that they didn't know it was a jumbo type jet ? the DOD had terrorist exercises going on that day of the exact scenario as what happened.. Bush and his staff should have been very aware of them..there should have been no question whether Bush should have been told..I love how he makes a joke of it..didn't wanna upset the kids.. what BS..what a bunch of lies

Pravda even reported about a possible attack on the USA in July 2001 and this is never reported. They warned the Russian people to take their money out of any US investments.

Think back to that day, 9/11/2001. The first tower was hit, then the second tower, then the Pentagon. One tower fell, then the other, United 93 went down over PA, all flights were grounded and for days we heard about other potential attacks. We feared what would happen next.
If someone where to tell you that we would be kept safe and there would be no attacks for the next seven years, we would have considered that an amazing accomplishment - it remains an amazing accomplishment

IT IS AN AMAZING ACCOMPLISHMENT.. Mistakes were made for sure, but for the next 7 years, we did not suffer any other attacks on our homeland soil. Even with the media hatred towards Bush, he said what he meant to do and never waivered from that...

When the first plane hit, it was being covered as a horrible accident...not an 'attack'.
People were going about their business.
It was being treated like a terrible, freak accident.
Why does it matter when or how Pres. Bush learned of the first plane hitting the first Tower?
It wasn't apparent that we were under attack until the 2nd and 3rd planes hit.
