I agree with alot of points being made in the documentary here, yet at the same time don't agree with it in another respect - it doesn't analyze the real basic causes of war and why people don't do anything about it.

Thank you! That is a powerful summary of the lies and corruption the US government is. Excellent documentary that every American should watch. Sadly, most Americans would not have the attention span or rational to understand the significance of the danger all Americans face. Further, It's the miracle of consumer capitalism that has motivated innovation and mass production among the people, And over the course of the past century, has been responsible for the largest increase in quality of life ever seen in the worlds history. The conflict comes when capitalism is applied to to many aspects of peoples lives.

Speaking from historical and current observation, people are best served by a hybrid government, where capitalism is encouraged for economic growth and continued competition, and socialized programs for education, health care, and welfare, to help ensure a safety net for all the people and an even playing field in a free market. The key principle is that it must be a democracy, where the govt represents the will of the people, as opposed to forcing its will on the people.

Thanks MindCrimesInc for posting Norman Solomon's excellent video. Seeing 6 different Presidents lying the same lie is to me the second most impressive part of the video. The words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the end of part 7 are the most impressive part.
