  • sounds kinda like ff7

  • I imagine how would it be to play with Ashley Riot in Final Fantasy Tactics. (*__*)

  • @TonRobo An even more awkward sprite than Chapter 4 Ramza? :)

  • @zeroflowne Mwahahahahahaha

Maybe, without the two holes in the pants.

  • Waiting for the perfect shot to come in i get my Charge+12 in and then BOOM... the chemist yells in agony as his knee has been disgraced with my arrow :P.

  • 2 imbeciles can't play the FFT and looses at 1st battle

  • @tossu123 Hey, that first battle is hard when you're only using one character!

  • @bushwhacker2k Hell yeah its hard with only one character! Even though its at the beginning of the game I made the mistake of underestimating those guys and got my ass handed to me.

  • @tossu123 Yet it only took 1 idiot here to comment on the dislike bar with the deadest horse on youtube.

  • @YinsShadow Hmmm I said something about You? So GTFO

  • "Remember Ramza! a well placed thrust pierces their mail!"

  • i always enjoying peoples death noises when this music plays

  • Taking my spot on a rooftop to better see my field of fire; a golden haired child with a fire in his eyes I can only hope to call revenge has made appearance, a choir of steel and sorrow in his stead.

    I draw, plotting my +12 charge. . .waiting. . . quiet. . . Is that a monk? x_x

  • Scant droplets of cold moisture dropped lightly on me from above as a cool and relaxing prestorm wind swept gently throughout the parched area of the battle site accompanied with the smell of rain.

Heavy ominous clouds roll in with the wind and the sound of thunder can be heard faintly in the distance. However the sound of live fighing reaches my earshot and beckons me to turn around.

Me*sees several cadets armed with medievial weaponry*

"Oh snap! Forgot to check the weather!"

    *runs away* XD

  • *sword slice* *girl dies* *SQUEEL*

  • soo badass man

  • Forget everything, En garde!

  • WTF?! only 55k? what's wrong with you, guys? show some appreciation for this masterpiece!

  • @AlexStorm3 Everyone reading your message obviously has to have contributed to the viewcount. Considering this, to whom do you direct said message?

  • EPIC BATTLES

  • this songs makes me more aware of my surrounding for some reason..as in to be prepared for something XD

  • This makes me wanna kick some ass! XD

  • im well focused when i hear this music. It makes me ready for battle hehehe

  • even comments related to FFT are epic.

  • We'll burn you to death, so don't run away.

  • Silence! Or die in obscurity!

  • Cadets, called to arms. Rushed into battle against foes with some experience.

Swords readied, knives armed. Potions are grabbed and stuffed in puches, leg grives equipped.

The foe awaits outside, will you survive! Weapons drawn, both sides ready, it's time for battle!

Fight for survival, steps are taken by both sides. A sword is swung, a cry of pain.

    Then the battle begins.

  • @captaintylersparrow That from the PSP version cuz doesn't sound familiar to the PS1 version

  • @Flipazn777 It was a dramacization. I never played the PSP, and I intend not to until I'm competant enough to not use the JP glitch.

  • @captaintylersparrow The psp version doesnt have the JP glitch, I think. Either that or I couldn't get that to work otherwise

  • @Udontknowme010 I know. That's why I said I won't use the PSP version until I can get through without that glitch on the PS1 version.

  • @Udontknowme010 They probably took the glitch out!

  • @doughnutser256

That wasn't a glitch. Martial arts abilities are based on raw attack rather than fininte attack power.

  • @captaintylersparrow *Generic Scream from Male Ally* Arghh!

  • gafgarion .. stupid jackass 1 hitted by a flare :)) XD

  • surrender or die in obscurity!

  • @kleptomc Buncha spoiled punks like you can never beat us!

  • Gafgarion die like a bitch.

  • BLAME YOURSELVES OR GOD

  • @StandInVoidZones

*Punches you in the stomach so hard you're knocked unconscious*

  • 1 Gafgarion disliked this.

  • L-i-t-t-l-e M-o-n-e-y.

  • Everyone will agree with me that the Story Battle at the Golgarand Execution Site is WAY harder than the final boss.

  • @rasalgethi999 The final battle is cake. I always thought the hardest battle was the one after delita's sister death.

  • @rasalgethi999 Oh hell yeah my first time doing that battle was 12 years ago back when I was 11 that shit made me so I'd stop playing for a week.

  • @rasalgethi999

I loved the Golgorand Battle. It was so hard at first until I realized that because they both outnumber and overpower me, the only way to win is to out-think them. That was when I realized that I needed to think differently for this game than I'm used to.

  • I MISS PLAYIN THIS SO MUCH

  • This song sounds a lot like "Boss Battle 2" from Chrono Trigger imo.

    Great musicians think alike.

  • This song belongs too FFT 1.3, lol difficulty makes it better

  • gaff wans't that bad... he tried to persuade ramza to go back towards the "flow" instead of against it.

  • 1 person got back fire from his job.

  • @kenbladex Actually, I believe that 1 person never figured out how to add more people to the first real battle.

  • @TheDevilbuster oh ho ho! I accidentally started that battle with Ramza only! burn

  • In my version, Gaff said : "Is this the end ?"

  • F&*&^(*&^ This soundtrack is fucking epic up my spine!

  • Low Faith + Bad or Super Bad Affinity = Miss

I create my characters to have good affinities with each other, and with Beowulf and Orlandu as part of my final team, because They'll all have 97 Brave and 89 Faith in the end. xD Makes for some easy early game ownage, as my created Preist's spells never fail, and have awesome results for the early game.

  • @Optimum45

Keep in mind high faith also makes you really suseptible to nasty spells as well as good spells. Things like death, flare, petrify, most enemy summons...

  • @Labtop215 Also... yknow... having capped faith makes yer damn party member leave >_>

  • @joegt123 94 Faith. If you can handle annoying empty desertion threats, that's the real cap.

  • @KopperNeoman And, stupidly, the higher your faith or brave, the more damage you take from corresponding attacks. As epic as FFT is, in hindsight, it had quite a few glaring flaws.

  • @joegt123 actually brave doesnt have that flaw only faith does/

  • @mdebourg35 no, i'm pretty sure you take more melee damage the higher brave you have.

  • @joegt123 Nope, actually more Brave just raises melee DMG output and React chance. Check it at FF Wiki.

  • March to your doom.

  • Great battle music!!

  • Loved the games soundtrack, but hated the difficulty drop. After the first 3 missions the game got really easy especially with Ninja's double sword ability. Wished they made it a bit more difficult and the A.I more intelligent since they always made terrible decisions in battle which dragged the challenge away . Despite all of this I still find this game rather enjoyable to play.

  • @Feulingnightmare 4 words...How old were you?

because when i played this, i was like 7 and found a lot of the main missions hard.

Like a mediator taking your own teammate, a thief stealing your equips, a knight breaking your equips, or sometimes just overwhelming force against u. All of these reasons forced me to reset to my last save game lol

  • @Xyntech06 Does it matter?

I beat it at age 17, but don't say it was that. i SUCK at Tactical rpgs. I get that would be hard for younger people, but i never play these games really, and it's been years since i played the original one (played the psp one). So mt knolage was a bit shaky at best, and tend to suck in the strategy department, so i tend to got all out and never really healed or even up leveled up that much, beating it at level 50 with one person.

Sorry if i sounded like a jerk.

  • "My"

    "Knowledge"

    Sorry grammar sucks.

  • @Feulingnightmare I'm to a protectionist, if i don't steal, get, or obtain an item, i will feel a sense of loss and end up redoing everything to get it (no matter the coast) One time i even restarted a Game because at the beginning i miss out on something, and I'm in to the exceptionally hard games (played the Smt sieries, Iwbtg, and various other titles that are crazy hard and always do it the hardest level of difficulty) so i know Perfectionism pretty well to, but fft hardly misses anything.

  • @Feulingnightmare nah you're fine. I'm just impressed because there are some missions in this game where people hit the roadblock. I'm quite the perfectionist in this game and I always reload things if they don't fall according to exactly how i want it to end and this is the original PS1 version. Not sure about the PSP's difficulty.

  • @Xyntech06 Nothing changed in difficulty i think. The PSP was a port so (with minor added content). That was it. The game like is said does have hard missions, i was more of saying the missions were not too "difficult" as the part of the A.I be stupid, if they worked on that a bit more it would have been far more challenging of a game. I would like to see a hard TRPG, there was only two i know so far (Smt devil savior and rondo of swords). If they make another one, i hope is fixed up.

  • "like I said"

    Hate my sucky grammar.

  • @Feulingnightmare oh yea from what i hear psp version is the same but with different names and it is "slow". not quite sure what people mean by that. But yea i'll give props to u though. I have some friends who can't even understand what I'm doing when I play this cuz they say it's too complicated. this is coming from halo fans lol

  • @Xyntech06 "Slow" mean extremely laggy and there right the moves take 5 seconds to come out. And Yes FFT is complicated, only if oyur not the one playing otherwise it's pretty simple, though what i want to know is why life can miss? To me that made no sense, but to the games credit it was decent enough and not that bad, while bad it was fun to play now and again, wish they add a bit more then 1 new secret character and 2 classes. Felt ripped off a little for buying it.

  • "Your"

I need to work harder at catching mistakes.

  • @Feulingnightmare

Because it's a spell based on faith and holy powers. Basically a prayer. Some prayers go unanswered.

  • @Labtop215 That make allot more sense when you say it like that, though i doubt they though it like that, but it really fit the game now that i think about it.

  • I remember when I first played FFT I didn't know that you could add additional units to the group, and wondered why in the first battle Ramza and Delita got destroyed so hard. :P

  • This was another one of my favorite battle songs.

  • IT IS I YOU MUST FIGHT. EN GUARDE!

  • I can't help but walking in place whenever I hear this song.

  • I dont get bout this "Two Headed Lion" thing. Any1 who has 179 IQ wants to answer me?

  • Unbeatable setup = 4 Knight classes + Basic Skill Secondary (Accumlate) w/ 2 Sword Ability + Blade Grasp w/ Move + 3 & 1 Summoner w/ Time Magic Secondary + Short Charge w/ Move + 3. Relying on Blade grasp melee and range enemies have 95-100% chance to miss all attacks against you. You will never need a shield hence you enable yourself to equip 2 swords. Add haste and move +3 to that and your army is invincible. In short, nothing survives your initial onslaught...NOTHING.

  • Comment removed

  • @Praetorian107 *Accumulate. Also want to say try using Attack up for your melee and Magic Up for your caster will add to their pwnage ability.

  • @Praetorian107 Dancer, White Mage/Arithmetician, Dark Knight (PSP version)/Ninja, Orator/Knight, Summoner and I can beat you through a PSP online match.

  • @aquapendulum you cant use math skills online :P and Orators entice doesnt bring to ur party 100%

  • @Yoowy I only want Orator for his Equip Guns, nice when combined with Knight's Arts of War (lol Entice, who'd use that?). As for Arithmetician, I could replace him with a Ninja.

  • @aquapendulum lol i have ninja, orator, summoner, knight/monk and squire (Ramza) all lvl 99

  • Comment removed

  • I will never forget the PS1 era of games that SQUARESOFT made. It wasn't until after FFX that things just started going downhill...Oh how I miss thee squaresoft.

  • @lightskinboi06 X kinda sucked too actually.

  • Comment removed

  • The battle between Ramza and Gaff reminded me of Luke and Darth Vader.

  • Battle Condition: Kick their ass!

  • @Poude123 I love it.

  • @Poude123 Got me thinking about "Activating Combat Mode". Makes wonder how Zack would "fair" in the Ivalice world. Pun intended.

  • @brasilstation since 2005?! I've been playing this since 1997! LOL

That's my favourite game! I was about 12 years old at that time...

Haven't played the new ones, but I will when I buy my DS

  • Battle Condition: KILL THE LEADER!!!

  • The last time I fought Gaffgarion at the Lionel Gate, he was the last to die. That just proves that Ramza as a Geomancer + Attack UP + Blood Sword = Worthless Gaffgarion.

  • I see Gaffy as being...behind the times. His power and techniques are strong by normal standards, but the new generation of dark knights, mages, and holy knights easily surpass him. I'm sure back in his day he was supreme though. And his cunning was undeniable.

  • @Bkdbear1991 I know, and against the unique-skin squire heavily protected by his other squires and a chemist. Yes, Delita is quite the *cough* wonderful tactitcian, isn't he?

  • Delita: "Careful, Ramza. Don't rush them!"

Ramza: "Don't patronize me, Delita. I am a Beoulve."

    Awesome...

  • "Battle is near!!! Prepare!! Maaaarch!!! "

... and so, the batallion goes straight forward to engage with the enemy

  • Gaffgarien!

  • @MrTomahawkSwing Gaffgarion!!!

  • this song is a bad influence. it makes me wanna call my squad and cause war for the hell of it with this theme playing in the background. great game with memorable music.

  • @brasilstation

    im sorry to hear that.

    Here's a hint:

learn how to use epsxe. It's a playstation emulator that would play any PS1 game on your pc with enhanced graphics.

  • You would think somebody with maxed dark mage and knight, and level 8 ninja, lancer, samurai, and geomancer would have 20 kills.

  • This is another track that pops out at me. This song has a sense of urgency, like .. oh shit we're fucked! But it's the enemy that feels this way. They feel they must keep fighting to the end rather than deal with the reality of their situation. It conveys a sense of pity and makes you think why am I fighting? Ramza is on the run as a heretic, but in the battle with this song, he's now on the other end, he's the hunter. It's a really interesting piece because of how it's used in the game.

  • @Gutbuster76 People think that ramza should have had a class of his own/special class. But what they don't realize, is that THIS is what makes the game PERFECT. He was given extra skills in squire class that were perfect for one on one battles. Haste and pumped up strikes :3 5 turns to an enemies single turn xD I love it.

  • @TheBringerofchaos I made ramza a monk with all of the squire skills ^.^ used that abil that increased atk speed and bravery about 5 times... then 1 shot everything with wave fist

  • @ImNotBlueBro hmmm i didn't think about doing something as extravagant as that! Nice tip xD

  • he DOES suk alot. once u take (pr break) his weapon hes done for. just a worthless tanker:) course same can b said 4 anyone this happens to (except mages)

  • Really? What makes you think that? I thought all the metaphorical and old-english dialogue made the game really enjoyable.

The words they used seemed to really connect you with the passion and emotion felt by the characters, and the cell-shaded cut scenes were some nice ad-ins.

    Just my opinion

  • Yea, but I asked you why you thought that :P

  • orlandu was the only character i deemed worthy to assist my main character in defeating altima at level 99, truly a badass skill set, i wish i could equip his job on everyone!

  • he's rigged and overpowered. you make yourself sound like a pro by saying he's "the only character i deemed worthy" noob.

  • Love it when this song comes in..When there's a battle I say "Bring It!"

  • Soldiers should take these tracks into combat w/ them!

  • who would win, gaffgarion or the black knight from fire emblem radiant dawn

  • The Black Knight. Gaffgarion has nothing on Eclipse. Of course, Orlandeau would kill them both without a second thought.

  • is orlandeau the guy that reads the stars and cast stop on all enemy's on the field? also the blacck knight has nihil on him so all special moves are cancelled against him. you have to do regular attacks against him in order to beat him

  • Nihil can't protect you from magic, and most of Orlandeau's attacks are similar to magic.

  • true. guess dark knight for the lost then

  • no Gaffgarion will just Drain The Black Knight Hp over and over again....... and at a range

  • Gaffgarion is one of the weakest people in Final Fantasy Tactics. The Black Knight is one of the strongest in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.

(inb4 I get rated down again for insulting a character in FFT)

  • @remixofdestiny the black knigh has an armor that cannot be damaged except by a weapon of the exact same material. and it covers his entire body

  • @soahcftd1 Gaffgarion is a badass though!

  • Weird.. In the sound test on FFT its called "Adults Only".. Try Making a new game and change ramza's name into PolkaPolka (With the capital 'P') and you will open the sound test.. works on psp..

  • @joshuaruizventura in my times you just had to put the cd in your sound system or in the PS with it opened.... simple! Oh my God! I'm getting old... LOL

  • The first time I did this battle and win I killed Gaff and when he died right around 0:59 was playing and fit all so well.

I also loved how Gaff ended. After stabbing you in the back and evading you, he finally gets mortally wounded and Gaff says something like "I don't want to die." and Ramza straight up says "Goodbye Gaffgarion." I remember muttering to myself "fucking owned."

  • Haha that sounds pretty awesome to be honest.

  • This is the best battle theme in the game for me,it is so epic and intense! thank you for uploading these themes from this stunning strategy roleplaying game.

  • GAFFFFGARIONNNNNNNNNNN!!!!one!1one

  • Silence!

    Surrender or die in obscurity!

    LMAO

  • "What can a bunch of kids like you do? Bunch of spoiled punks like you'll never beat us!!"

  • Thief (actually a squire): what's this? just a bunch of kids? what luck! okay all we have to do is kill these kids! then we can escape. dont worry we'll kill everyone of you!

  • i need to play this game again to get sucked in the storyline. this game has the best storyline of any FF and it's confusing a little as well. i fully understood the corruption aspect and ramzas/delitas story (broke into tears when delita asked ramza what he got) but some of the points were lost in my memory. im about to fire this game up now haha

  • finally i found this song thx for puting it on

  • I remember this theme. 2nd battle in the game as well as Encounter with Gaffgarion...I heard this song and I was ready to finally stomp Gaffgarion into the ground! Man, if it wasn't for my Red Chocobo, Gaffgarion would have annihilated me.....Awesome battle music!!! 5/5!!!

  • i love this song :D

  • Night Sword! That sound effect always gets me!

  • Great!
