@TheBazman117 yeah he maybe has underwear on top of pijama but atleast he hasnt got donkey ears!! and he doesnt put a mask cause he ist afraid to face the bad guys with nothing on his head
@TheBazman117 A real superhero doesnt show his true identity even in death. Superman breaks the rules and besides how can u resisit a badass who doesnt need powers to strike fear into a city......
I love this part in the movie. It shows Batman being drugged by Scarecrow, he is one fire, he has no one to help him and he is is reliving the worst memory of his life. Truly heartbreaking.
I am a hugh Batman fan and when this movie came out i cringed. I remembered the 80's ones which were a crime and should be deleted from existance. It wasnt advertised well so i saw it when the movie i went to see was sold out. What a truely AWESOME movie. This is the Batman i read about, this is the real true Batman!! Bob Kane would be proud. i rate it 6 out of 5 stars!!!!
@JimmyFraska : these "unique names" are the scientific classifications for different species of bats. there's only so many you can use. zimmer has done pretty well for himself, thanks though.
@BaDumTiiiiish I wish Zimmer, or whoever names them would keep unique names like these, instead of being quotes from the films, as we've seen in TDK and Inception.
@tiiito1988 agreed. Has a much better story and the whole tone of the movie is just so awesome. The reason TDk is so good is because of the joker, two-face and the amazing action scenes.
This is a great track. You can hear the grief, lonliness, and obsession Batman feels and that is an impressive accomplishment of Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard.
They all portray a veryation of Joker, Ledger was more of a real life, creepy Joker. Nicholson was more of a classic Joker and Hammil portrayed more of a newer / classic version, but hell they were all good Jokers.
I have to say Thank You Britan and Australia for saving the Batman Franchise and give him back his dignity! Jack Nickleson is NOTHING, compared to Heath Ledger!!!
I agree with that comment completely. Neither Hamill, Ledger or Nicholson are crap. They're all brilliant. You can't compare them, totally different interpretations of the character.
@Taraka1 Hamill has gotten overrated BEYOND BELIEF. That guy made a great voice, but my god do nostalgia freaks like you ride his dick so hard. Hamills great, but I find Ledger better.
@Taraka1 Ledger actually scared me with his take. Hamill, the laughing and the crazy voice was cool and interesting to hear but it never did anything for me. I think my dread for Ledgers joker was
Sides, I never said I didn't like Ledger, he was great. I think too many people say he's the best simply because he died. But I loved his joker too. I merely like Hamil more.
Then you like someone who used the same exact tone and pitch every time dubbing the character. I too love Hamill, but Heaths performance took A LOT more effort and balls. I'm SURE too many people like Hamill because they grew up with him in the 90s. You specifically wrote hes nothing compared to Hamill? That ticks me off beyond belief. Ledger put his voice, body, soul, movement into the character. Hamill? his voice? um....well no. Hamill is nothing compared to Ledger
@Taraka1 cemented when he screamed LOOK AT ME. Ledger was scary, suave, calm but fierce, resolute, a lot funnier so better imo. Hamills voice had no range and you anal nostalgia kids eat it up
@Taraka1 But all 3 are so different . . . and I know, nobodies going to compare the same thing . . . but in a situation where all 3 were amazing, all thats left is opinion . . .
I love this part of the soundtrack, not to mention this part of the movie. It denotes the humanness of Batman: he crashes noisily in the alley, instead of disappearing silently; he stumbles and people watch him as he struggles to balance himself; and when he shoots his grapple, you can hear the line as it goes up, whereas it is usually virtually unnoticeable. Alone, this scene, accompanied by this piece, makes this film a treasure.
actually i'm pretty certain cillian murphey is irish (im a big fan too, have you seen sunshine?) and yes some scenes a i believe were filmed in chicago but i think a few others were filmed in England
ive seen sunshine and 28 days later.... and not to mention red eye. =) yup, ive seen all of those. <3 cillian murphey. love his eyes ;)
some filmed in chicago, some filmed in shanghai, china (for the dark knight), the wayne mannor was in england (among many other scenes/ locations), and for Ra's al Ghul's temple, on the Vatnajökull glacier-- that was iceland =)
I grew up as a Batman fan collecting thee comic books & never thought thee Tim Burton Batman movie could be bested by Batman Begins, until i watched it. anyone know where the music when he throws joker off the cliff? I know its in this first movie too, when liam neeson meets his demise in the train. Its not on TDK unfortunately.
Yeah, I love that part at 2:30. Scarecrow is awesome. The part at 2:50 is when Batman is on fire from the scarecrow's lighter. Awesome movie(along with TDK). Hans Zimmer and Howard Newton are amazing!
