However, archeaology has not found one trace WHATSOEVER of the remains of the city of "nazereth"; no pottery, no jewish temple remains, NOTHING and I mean NOTHING dating from the 1st century AD has been found in the area of what is now Nazereth!! In fact, close to the place where the church of nazereth is now standing, old burial tombs have been discovered thanks to professional digging there.
