Yeah actually i think the same...they have crap solos. Actually they are not solos..they are ''play something very fast and show that u can play that fast'' thing.. I am not against Slayer..but they need to make some good solos as that of Metallica and Megadeth. PS: No one beats them in case of their speed.

Tom's voice never changes, the guitar sound is always the same, it's heavy, but it's thin. @Anirudh They aren't very popular because you're used to solos that follow your typical pentatonic scale. Hanneman and King play whatever sounds good at that exact moment. They play a non-diatonic scale, which sounds a lot less melodic, and more devilish. They make amazing use of the wah, and to this day I have yet to find someone that can play their thrash solos at proper BPM and still be in rhythm. Slayer destroy shit.
