I'm Limousine. I'm come from Limousin in France. it's funny! I like a lot Brand New. I've known them from an english friend . I don't know if they have a lot of fans in France but I hope they will be coming here one day . I 'd like to go to a brand new 's concert!
when i saw them they never rocked out during this song. he just sang it calmly the whole time. for some reason it was the more intense, heavy, dark, and beautiful than the original. cant explain why. it just was
he says he doesnt care about how good the song is but how it makes people feel. he says if it makes you feel something then its just as good as it should be
the first time i heard it, it gave me chills. then i found out what its about. now i can hardly listen to it the whole way through because im afraid ill just break down

hey retard Jesse is catholic, and probably 25% of what Jesse writes about had biblical references so...how about you take the time to learn so you know what your talking about.
You're absoloutely right, it is great music either way.
However, with that being said, Jesse Lacey is not Catholic.
There's an XM Radio interview from '07 where Jesse talks about religion and says: "The idea of religion and organized religion, and especially the Born-Again Christian or Evangelist Christian ideas; I run away from that as fast as I possibly can. The label of Christian, the weight that it carries in America today, is nothing that I want to be a part of or associated with."
And PS, If you (and this goes for anyone reading) happen to think I'm either wrong, or lying, or even if you just aren't convinced - feel free to let me know.
the songs on the album he explained as songs that showed his faith but also his doubts as everyone who does believe in God does...personally i think its a better stand than the regular God based lyrics of other bands
its Christian? i'm a Christian myself and i know some of the guys including Jesse are Christians but i didnt know they played Christian music. thats cool.

he says he doesnt care about how good the song is but how it makes people feel. he says if it makes you feel something then its just as good as it should be
nickfromdtown1992 2 years ago 2
and that's why his music means something to me. more musicians need that sort of attitude.

I believe it's a 72' thinline telecaster.

looks like a telecaster thinline, not sure what year though.

it is a '72 Telecaster Thinline.
looks very similar to the '69 Tele thinline but the pick ups are different.
VERY nice guitar at a pretty good price, saving up for one myself.

have you even listened to their songs, dude
he is clearly religious
yetdeeplyinept 3 years ago
Have you ever listened to interviews? In a Sirius interview he clearly stated that he wants nothing to do with the church as a whole.
CainShankedAbel 3 years ago 2
he went to some catholic school as a child
so i know that he has a religious background
im not too sure about his views today
so ill restate that
he clearly knows alot about the bible.. which could be considered religious, depending on your view of the definition, i guess
yetdeeplyinept 3 years ago 2

I feel that his religious references are more of a "questioning" stance more then a devout belief.Neutral I guess?

johnywoo2 3 years ago
how bout you send me that interview?
maxizzlefrizzle92 4 years ago
I think that Jesse does believe in God, his problem is with organized religion. His beliefs are referenced in a lot of his songs. Like in Archers:
"While you're beating with a book
everyone that book tells you to love.
There is an ember in the heart of this kiln
and it's burning hot with love.
Burning out my center till there's nothing but dust
then rolling me with care into your cigarette
cause the God I believe in never worked on a campaign trail."
But either way, incredibly talented.
caiticat8907 4 years ago 10
your probably right but i'm sure he was probably born catholic
