Apologies, I wasn't entirely clear on what you were trying to do!
Try recreating the ISO image using UMDGen V4.00 to ensure you have a valid image, and then retry.
Failing that, I'd recommend buying the original game if you've not already done so. It's freely available on eBay: I got mine from a seller in Hong Kong.
TwinBee Portable actually uses a standard SMC format ROM image of the SNES game Pop 'n TwinBee, split into four parts.
The Buster Busts Loose ROM is the same size as Pop 'n TwinBee, so I simply split in into four parts using a hex editor, then replaced the files in the UMD ISO image.
The altered ISO image was then loaded using DA's custom firmware.
This seems to work for *some* games, but not others. I have not tried any ROMs of a different size.

Yes, this game was only released in Japan and Korea.

all you need to do is: set your psp to english language setting and it'll work fine. any other setting will cause the game to crash ;)
