@WiiKingMattitude24 christopher lee was really upset that this scene wasn't included, he had a falling out with peter jackson over it (though they've apparently resolved the argument, because he's coming back for the hobbit.) I can't say I blame him, it's kind of dumb to leave this scene out since Saruman is a major figure and we're left not knowing what happened to him
@Cirvantes123 it's cus he wanted the theatre version to appeal to a younger audience and having Sauman impaled on the wheel is more gruesome than any other scene in the whole trilogy
perhaps if he just fell off and landed in some shallow water with some dismal music playing or some other less graphic death scene they could left it in MAYBE
great scene, but there's one minor thing that I was dissapointed about. In the book something I've always liked is how when Sauruman dies he turns into a cloud of smoke that looks towards the west, but then a wind comes and scatters him. I've always liked that for some reason, too bad it wasnt put in the film.
@Cirvantes123 True...and the fact they COMPLETELY changed the way he dies from what happened in the book where they actually let him go and he is killed by Grima. This is more satisfying though lol
this si a very good scene..i don't know why they deleted some of the better scenes...do you know where can i find the dvd extended edition from the lord of the rings??

I wish they would've gone with the actual ending in the book where Grim Wormtongue stabs Saruman in Hobbiton on the doorstep of Bag End.

I wish Radagast, Allatar, and Pallando were included more in the stories. It would have made more sense as to Gandalf and Saruman's origins

I know RotK was 3 and a half hours long... but they couldn't add 5 minutes to the film for Christopher Lee?
