1) how do the police have images of him but no info on him

2)how does sly know his name yet nothing else about him even tho clockwerk was at his house when he was younger

3)how can an olw be a thief? hes not anthropodic, so he cant realistically crack a safe or anything

4)if he hasa fortress, how did he build it/how has it not been found before

the falcons are mini clockwerks. his giant death ray looks just like his head! and in sly 2 it's kinda hard cause you in a helicopter. but what I don't get is how there were new Clockwerk parts built. who rebuilds a mech owl who lives off hatred and wants to kill a family for no reason?

The parts aren't actually destroyed until the hate chip is crushed in Sly 2. I guess the excavation recovered every last pure evil bit of Clockwerk.

Yea they excavated them and they were brought to Cairo. Thus, the intro level for Sly 2. But at the end after the hate chip was destroyed was when the parts finally aged beyond use.

In the volcano, yes. His hate chip was still intact but his auto repair system was busted, which allowed him to survive, but only in pieces.

Yeah...Sly busted his auto-reconstruct circuitry by smashing his head into oblivion...my question is, Clockwerk lived off hate, and people know that, so why didn't they just let him "rest in pieces"?

The excavation crew probably didn't know. Lucky for the gamer or else there wouldn't be the Sly 2 we know.

Yeah...I guess we should count ourselves lucky that we were able to get the Thievius Raccoonus back...that, and that Sly knows his family history involving Clockwerk...wasn't Clockwerk stalking them in all the photos, even from Sly's most historic ancestor, Slytenkamen II? His shadow was in all the photos. And why did Clockwerk get jealous of the Coopers at all? They're just other plain old master thieves in this world who didn't bother with him. And now he's out to kill them.

The Coopers were more flashy for leaving their family symbol wherever they thieved so I guess Clockwerk just wanted some attention.

Then why didn't Clockwerk do something like work with the Coopers? That would give him a great deal of attention...or, if he just wanted to match up, he could've left something...a model of his head, like the Death Ray, perhaps? Even so, he should never have bothered...jealousy never does any good to you, after all, and after so many years of living, Clockwerk died in an instant.

He was far too proud to admit needing the Coopers' help with his reputation, which is why everything in his fortress was modeled after him.

That, and he was a bit full of himself from the fact that he can boast that he is immortal and that he can do things like "slice through steel with his talons", as it said in Sly 2. As well, his reputation would be put down if people knew he needed the Coopers' help to steal...it would make him basically nothing, second fiddle to the Cooper clan. That's why he was so jealous...he couldn't match up to them.
