  • Good decision on State Troopers part! To the protesters the point wasn't clear and it was just sad to watch.

  • I feel so bad for these officers. That guy complaining about his shoulder hurting what about your sorry ass hurting their backs because you can't even cooperate enough to stand on your own. What fucking Hippocrates. You proved your point. You're good at being Assholes. That is all.

  • i wanna be a VSP officer one day

  • what idiots

  • when a police officer or law enforcement officer tells you to move you have to move or you will be removed by force.

  • Campaign to BOYCOTT Farmers & any business hiring illegal aliens in the US! Don't support MODERN DAY SLAVERY! Illegal's are over worked & under paid & businesses should be punished!!

  • as long as workers pay taxes like I do, I don't care who picks my food as long as sanitation is good and they have a green card. I would not mess with B.P. though.

  • "There is no need for that violent force". Haha. She's pretty stupid. They were breaking the law. They didn't listen when an Officer of the law warned them. They basically asked for it. Anyway, that really wasn't enough force. I (I'm not trying to sound all big and tough, cause I'm not, I'm speaking the truth) would have probably maced that guy that wouldn't stand up.

  • Kudos the the Vermont state Police ! Way to go ! Shumlin is a, for lack of a better word 'retard' for wanting to look the other way in Vermont, we will be infested with Mexicans like Colorado and have alot more problems. Plus OUR hard earn money will go to help these Illegal immigrants get free health care and more.

I am proud of our State Police now!

  • whats this all about

  • I love the Dead Man, police hate it so much, you're not resisting, and you're not cooperating, and it makes it fifty times harder to arrest you. HAHAHA FUCK YOU PIGS

  • @fertilizerspike

Dumb. Yeah, not cooperating also takes longer for processing makes it more likely for you to go to jail and not court. Genius.

  • @Bliggaz

Sure, show any jury that video and see what happens. Genius.

  • violent force she says... fucking idiot protestors. LOL

  • AS A RESULT of the MEX-American War, Mexico ceded California to the US. It became the 31st state admitted to the union on 9/9/1850. The US did not have to pay Mexico ANYTHING for California. The US paid Mexico 25 million for the other states NM & AZ. This was called the Gadsden Purchase!! THOSE STATES ARE US TERRITORY NOW! GET OVER IT!!

  • I VOTE SHERIFF JOE ARPAIO FOR PRESIDENT & KANSAS SECRETARY OF STATE KRIS KOBACH FOR VICE PRESIDENT!!

  • VERMONTER'S DIDN'T VOTE FOR GOVERNOR SHUMLIN TO REPRESENT ILLEGAL ALIENS SAME GOES FOR THE PRESIDENT & POLITICIANS WHO ARE AGAINST ENFORCEMENT! THEY WILL NOT GET MY VOTE! 1 TERM FOR THESE GUYS!!

  • Beez242...you are so full of crap it's unreal. Smarten up you dumbazz because it's idiots like you who have made it hard on everyone by encouraging lowlife like this to break the law.

  • It's much more likely that the extreme right-wing nativist bloggers who are haunting everyone's youtube pages are the ones who don't have a job!

Most likely, these people took off from work to come exercise their constitutional rights like the patriots they are! And people like you who sit around & waste your time berating them instead of passing these more-stringent labor laws you claim you wish to see enacted are traitors - siding with the interest of Empire over the people of the world!

  • There are legal avenues to come to this country and I am a firm believer that a person should be welcomed with open arms if they come to this country legally. If they decide to circumvent the laws, then they should not be surprised when they are kicked out. For those that welcome illegal aliens, they should not complain about the extra "baggage" that comes with it (i.e. higher crime rate, higher taxes, higher unemployment, higher welfare rates, etc.).

  • @Beez252 The situation could be avoided if the employers of illegal aliens were held financially responsible for hiring illegal workers. If we did that we would not need to modify our laws at all. there would be a mass exodus of illegal aliens back to their home of origin which is where their loyalty lies anyway. As it stands employers reap the benefits of hiring cheap labor while they complain about high taxes.

  • @Beez252 oh, I see, all aliens are burglars, killers and rapists, you should look for the men you have in your church...

  • "designated in section 1114 of this title"

§ 1114. — Protection of officers and employees of the United States.

    1952--Act June 27, 1952, substituted ``any immigration officers''

for ``any immigrant inspector or any immigration patrol inspector''.

    AKA: Border Patrol Agents

  • 18 U.S.C. § 111 : US Code - Section 111: Assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers or employees

    (a) In General. - Whoever -

    (1) forcibly assaults, resists, opposes, IMPEDES, intimidates,

or interferes with any person designated in section 1114 of this

title while engaged in or on account of the PERFORMANCE OF OFFICIAL DUTIES.

In this case all of these protestors could be fined and sentenced to up to a year in jail... Lets hope this happens! Sadly I'm sure it will not.

  • @prek2phd Also, NO ONE on here knows what the Troopers RS was, but that is up to that Trooper to articulate and for a court to decide if it was enough or not. All you are going to get on here is biased opinions. However, the fact is the they were illegal, there was a detainer placed on them by INS, and they were arrested legally. I think it is time for the Gov. of Vermont to grow some balls and support his Troopers. I think these "protestors" should be arrested Federally for 18 USC 111.

  • god i hoped they charged them with having nasally, whiny voices too. another example of people leading a sheltered, easy life thinking theyre doing something great when they should be at work.

  • The news report claimed that the two illegal immigrants were passengers in the vehicle that was pulled over. My question is "Why did the State police question the passengers?" I have been a passenger in several traffic stops and have never been asked a single question. Unless the passenger does something to provoke suspicion they should not be forced to interract with the police.

  • @prek2phd Supreme Court upheld state laws requiring citizens to disclose their identity to police when officers have reasonable suspicion to believe criminal activity may be taking place (i.e. being illegally present in the US). Commonly known as "stop and identify" statutes, these laws permit police to arrest criminal suspects who refuse to identify themselves. Vermont is one of these states that have the "Stop and Identify" law. This is absurb that people are arguing this.

  • @Beez252 That sounds good But I still have one question. What reasonable suspicion could an officer have that a passenger is an illegal alien?

  • @prek2phd Some examples that I can think of off the top of my head are, lack of ID, lack of communication (did they speak English), they are in a state that borders another country, their demeanor (nervous, lack of eye contact, etc.), their appearance (I DO NOT MEAN RACE!!!). As for appearance, are they from the local area? ANYONE from the local area knows what/who is normal for the local area. All of those are examples. However, only the Trooper can answer that question as to why he did.

  • @Beez252 Have you ever been a passenger in a car during a traffic stop and had the officer ask for your ID. What need does the officer have to interract with the passenger? I imagine that if the passenger was not wearing their seatbelt or drinking alcohol in the open the officer would have PC, otherwise, I can see no reason for the officer to question a passenger.

  • @prek2phd I can somewhat see why there is a need for LEGAL migrant workers, but sadly the majority of agricultural migrant workers are illegal. Just last month there were approx. 425,000 unemployment claims in the US. Kinda makes you ask if we really need all these undocumented workers. I know the whole argument of they are doing a job that Americans won't do, but the fact still remains that they are taking a job that an American COULD do. As for the family members, they don't need to be here.

  • @Beez252 If you have ever spent a day in the fields you would know that it is hard work. To suppose that an 'entitlement minded' unemployed American would refuse unemployment benefits in order to work for minimum wage in the fields is unrealistic. We do need guest workers but as we both agree their families can remain in their home country. What is your impression of birthright citizenship? Should a person that is unauthorized to be in this country be able to 'drop anchor' due to childbirth?

  • @prek2phd Having grown up on a farm, I know what it is like to work in a field. That is why I think that in order to receive unemployment benefits, a person must show that they are incapable to perform a occupation in which there is an employment opportunity. But I can also think in one hand and crap in the other.

  • @prek2phd As for being born in the US and gaining US Citizenship via jus soli, it is a myth that the parents of the child automatically get to stay in the US due to the fact that they had a child in the US. Fact is that the child is indeed a US Citizen, but the parents are still illegal. Once the child is adult in age they can then petition for their parents to get status in the United States. That however does not guarentee status for the parents.

  • @Beez252 paper facts and reality often pass each at high rates of speed on the highway of life. If deportation of an illegal alien causes significant hardship the illegal alien will be granted permission to stay, or as the Govenor of Deleware states it "our policy is to look the other way". I am responding to you from the failing state of California and I am certain that there are more illegal aliens here than in any other state in the union.

  • @prek2phd you should know that California, New Mexico and other states belonged to Mexico, if you

think they`re aliens, what would natural americans think about you! stop the crap and look back!

  • @latinalibreriocuarto Mexico lost that land in a war. That is how Mexico got the land in the first place. Which country owned the land before Mexico? Of course you realize that they fought a war of independence with some other country, so tell me which country did they fight. Then answer me 'which country owned it before Mexico and Spain?'. You are going to be surprised when you do a little research on the history. It is just like you said,"look back".

  • @prek2phd But in my opinion.. I do not think a person should automatically derived status just because they had a kid born in the United States. Luckily, that is not how it is and it realistically takes 18+ for an illegal alien who had a kid born in the US to derive any type of status in the United States. That is of course they decide to go the legal route after the child is born, but what are the chances that is going to happen?

  • @prek2phd my bad... it takes 18+ years for an illegal alien who had a kid born in the US to derive any type of status in the US. The kid must be 18 years or older to petition for the parent and even then it takes time to be processed.

  • @Beez252 But in the meantime, the illegal alien's life is complimented from public assistance that the newly christened citizen warrants. If we imposed the same citizenship criteria that other civilized nations abide by we could save billions of dollars each year.

  • @prek2phd I agree with everything you wrote.

  • @prek2phd The suspicion level to talk to a passenger in a vehicle is none. The officer does not need RS or PC to talk to a passenger. There are no laws that prohibit the officer from talking to a passenger. You ask if I have ever been ID'd by an officer during a traffic stop and the answer is yes I have been. I don't know why and I really don't care why, I felt the Officer was doing their job and I can appreciate that.

  • @prek2phd to continue my response. If the officer had RS to believe that the passengers were involved in a crime (illegal alien) and they were unable to provide ID the officer had more than enough to arrest these aliens. My guess is through the questioning of the passengers (which is 100% legal) the Troopers suspicion was raised that they were involved in a crime and the Trooper did their job from there. Overall I applaude the Troopers and the Border Patrol for doing what we pay them to do.

  • @prek2phd Now I have a question, do you think those people would have been protesting if these illegal aliens had been involved in a car accident, due to their excessive speed (88 in a 65 = 23 mph over the speed limit), and killed an entire family? I highly doubt they would have. I think if that were the case these "protestors" would have been blaming the VTSP and USBP. Sometimes you just can't win. What are your thoughts?

  • @Beez252 I don't have a problem with any law enforcement officer upholding the law. I spent 20 years in the US Navy and I am particularly fond of law, order and procedure. Legal is good and illegal is not good. Even though that may seem rather anal to some people I feel that if we are a country of laws we need to enforce those laws constantly. I can sense the need for foreign workers but I disagree that we need their entire families here. What is your response?

  • @prek2phd Also, just for the record, I went online and searched previous illegal alien cases and that is where I found these examples. I recommend anyone who is really questioning this to do the same. I work at an autobody shop and eve I can figure out that what happened here is 100% legal and not morally wrong.

  • I think it is comical that these fools got arrested, they filmed evidence of impeding a Federal Officer and can now be charged federally with 18 USC 111, and the illegal aliens were still arrested, processed for being illegally present, and will be deported. Yeah, these Vermont citizens really showed them!!! Good job VTSP and USBP!!!

  • It was a stupid stunt and the Governor should be ashamed for his behavior, ordering an investigation on The Vermont State Police’s activities, just to appease these protesters. This is an egregious waste of taxpayer dollars, in a time when the state is in dire needs of funds.

  • One thing I can see is the protesters are not following the sheriff's commands that is why they were brought to the ground. I still believe immigration laws are laws. The problem is Farmers and extrapolated out to all Americans don't want to pay for labor. Pay the illegal immigrants the exact same as American workers and there would be no incentive to hire the illegals. I don't see anyone standing up to pay $5.00 for a head of lettuce do you?

  • This video has been cleaned up. It does not show the police officer shouting obscenities at the woman-considerably more vile than "you need to be quiet and move away" (she was not in the way). These people were protesting an illegal action by the state police, and were completely nonviolent, and yet all of them were forcibly wrestled to the ground and handcuffed, not gently. I wonder what that officer would have been like had there not been observers and a camera running?

  • Dear souls ... this land belongs to GOD! There is room for everyone ... what makes you think that anyone is better then someone else? Wake up you have been brainwashed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This life is a test .... are you passing?

  • We should sweep this Nation and remove all illegals!

  • @KeysGuy Starting with the illegal immigrants of 400 years ago. You came here, were welcomed and supported, then you stole the land, killed or moved the rightful occupants, and now self-righteously criticize people who come here and work hard, far from their families, at jobs that I doubt you could or would do.

  • Did they really think that the Border Patrol guys would just let those guys go? I guess these people dont mind paying for their welfare and medical care either. Enjoy your night in jail you idiots.

  • these protesters made an illegal action.... just like ILLEGAL immigrants..... get legal, follow the laws or get out.... simple. If you feel laws need to be changed, work on the legal route to change them.

  • hahahaha

  • No human being is illegal. Great to see folks in Vermont taking drastic action against this horrible immigration system.

  • @kyledeb You are correct being a human isnt illegal but being a human without proper credentials to be where they are is illegal. With your reasoning everyone should be allowed into secure government compounds without any ID whatsoever.

  • HAHAHA! LOSERS!

  • Good....charge them with resisting arrest too.

  • @justinlegend8800 your a dumb ass.

  • @mymegapops How am I a dumbass? These idiots are standing in a roadway. Protesters like this need to think about how to properly convey messages. Breaking a law themselves by impeding traffic, and hindering law enforcement is not the right way. Do yourself a favor and educate yourself before you open your mouth. If you have a problem with the way this country is run, you are more then welcome to leave it.

  • Nice work VSP!! Get them out of there. To the protesters, it must be nice to not have to work or make anything of yourselves or be productive citizens and just be community agitators.

  • Couldn't agree more, these people were issued lawful commands and were deliberately noncompliant. You can not intentionally impede the duties of a federal agent. As to the comments of the raving lunatic in the background, if a member of my family was in another country illegally, working and not paying taxes, getting free health care and bringing illicit activity into small communities I would have little sympathy for them.

  • Comment removed

  • @ejfd16 Couldn't agree more with you. VSP did awesome as far as force went. I don't understand why the women was complaining about force. Sorry it takes some force to arrest someone. Dumb woman

  • @ejfd16 fuck you bitch.you racism motherfucker.

  • Thank you VSP. Great job, why don't these people go protest in Washington instead of sitting in front of police cars. These officers are just doing what they were trained and told to do. If you want change, go protest the people who create the laws.
