I think Sony is responsible for the services and products they sell/offer. We buy their systems, we buy the games, we pay for the internet connection to be able to play online. So they should not ask us for more money to insure us for future breaches of their own system. They made the system, therefor they are responsible for it.

I wouldn't sell someone a broken car and then say: hey, you should have gotten insurance on it. Not quite the same thing, but you get the picture. That just won't work.
