I believe they do work. People who say that the pads turn brown and there is nothing else to it...explain something to me. Why do the pads get lighter by the third of fourth night of using them. By using your logic, wouldn't the pads be brown each time? In other words, what are people doing differently from the first night to the last night that causes the pad to various color changes.

i got the kinoki footpads today. they r fake. The pad heats your foot, and the adheasvie is airtight, and make your foot sweat more. Then it becomes brown because of the sweat. the way it becomes whiter and whiter is that it has this chemical in it that seals your pores and makes you sweat less. It is like a barrier and when you dont use them the socks rub the barrier off, making you think you are getting heavy metals all the time and very quickly. I took distilled water and put 5 drops of it on
the pad and it turned brown. Then i put my finger there and realized it was sticky. Then the water on my finger dried and it felt a lot more less slippery. It was very hard to move my fingers together. It actually cause you harm by causing irritation to your foot by sealing up your pores and overheating your foot. Also the benefits people are getting are from the placebo effect.

Some of the cheap brands, do not share their ingredients with the public. They are just putting chemicals that actually make you worse; is one theory. Some of the other brands have passed scientific tests in Japan , or some I am told. But I havent seen any proof. Kenrico NOT kinoki some how should work.

I left a Kinoki foot pad out on my dresser and it changed colors without having come into contact with any part of my body. This product is retarded. I also put the pads on my testicles and the next morning the pads turned black. This would suggest my balls are impure, and they are not!!!

Kinoki foot pads do not list the ingredients it contains. My guess is that it is composed of ferrous metals. For iron (Fe) to become iron oxide(Fe2O3)[a.k.a. rust], water, oxygen, and iron is all that is required. Oxidation occurs when the sweat(water) of your feet come in contact with iron in the pads. Other elements that turn brown in reaction to water are also possible cohorts.

Some of the cheap brands, do not share their ingredients with the public. They are just putting chemicals that actually make you worse; is one theory. Some of the other brands have passed scientific tests in Japan , or some I am told. But I havent seen any proof. Kenrico NOT kinoki some how should work.

Also, how exactly can it remove cellulite? Cellulite isn't a substance - it's a dimpling of the skin on certain parts of the body.
As for the pad turning brown, there's a chemical on the pad that reacts with water to cause a color change. Try it.

The pad is lightly coated with a very fine antiperspirant powder that builds up on the bottom of the foot over the course of a few days. It stays after showering because it gets down into the friction ridges on your feet. If you scrub the bottoms of your feet really well with a strong soap or a brush after the pads stop turning brown and then use another one, it'll be like it is on day one in the morning.
Oh, and I misspoke. The stuff that turns brown is inside the pad, not on the outside.

I left a Kinoki foot pad out on my dresser and it changed colors without having come into contact with any part of my body. This product is retarded. I also put the pads on my testicles and the next morning the pads turned black. This would suggest my balls are impure, and they are not!!!

Well I just bought the Kinoki pads and I used them last night and yes they changed color and I really don't know if they work or not but everyone is saying about your feet but on the box it says you can use it on any part of your body I don't know if that would make a difference or not but maybe I will try that...

They just did a piece on NPR about them. They don't work. They will turn black under steam. You feet sweat all night causing them to turn black. They did metal testing and the before and after use sample had the same levels of metal. So no they dont work and you got ripped off.

Kinoki foot pads do not list the ingredients it contains. My guess is that it is composed of ferrous metals. For iron (Fe) to become iron oxide(Fe2O3)[a.k.a. rust], water, oxygen, and iron is all that is required. Oxidation occurs when the sweat(water) of your feet come in contact with iron in the pads. Other elements that turn brown in reaction to water are also possible cohorts.
