Left 4 Dead 2 sucks. In comparison to Left 4 dead 1 its awful. L4D1 had a darker, gloomy and tense environment because the survivors always seemed scared or just on the edge. Its atmosphere was perfect.

L4D2, on the other hand, The characters joke around, tell crap jokes, dont take the zombie apocolypse seriously and they arent even scared of fucking zombies!!! Most maps are daytime too. L4D2 is just an action shooter. L4D1 is a Zombie Horror game.

Before this game came out, I was so pumped to play it... I was freaking out... like the first thing the L4D E3 Trailer came out, it looked so scary.

But then after a few months of playing you get so used to it it is not that scary and badass as you think it is, but it still is a great game, but I wished Left 4 Dead 2 had more "horror" in it.

left 4 dead 2 is better then the first game in some ways but the first game got the funniest characters and jokes. but the cool thing with l4d2 is all the new stuff like melee weapons, defib-unit, adrenaline and some other things. but still the first game is the best.

Lol we're discussing the games themselves, not the trailers. Also, the original L4D introduction IS better than L4D2. L4D2 actually kind of gives you hints as to how you play and what you should do. L4D2 is essentially just a montage of the levels. Bad ass, but I'd take the style of #1 over #2 any day when their objective is to 'just drop the player into the situation with no tutorial.'
