Americans talk a lot about God and faith. They are outraged because of a half-naked woman, but say YES to weapons. This is double standard of morality. Unfortunately, I know very well, what I'm talking about.

I wish you, Mrs. Giffords, a quick recovery and all the best. Then go back into politics and work against the weapons.

I have read several comments that Congresswoman Giffords district is not being represented. In fact, they are being represented very well. Requests for assistance from her office went up after her injury. The hallmark of a good leader is the ability to delegate to staff to get the job done. Her staff has performed exceptionally well in handling the increased workload, while keeping Gabby informed. When it really counted, Gabby showed up in Congress to vote to keep America from defaulting.

Gabby Gifford is a fabulous representative. She thinks just as well as she always has. Even if her communication methods are a challenge, she is a better representative of and for me than any of her prior or possible future opponents. I will vote for her any time.

From a disability standpoint, I would estimate that Stephen Hawking, arguably one of the most brilliant minds on the planet is more impaired than Congresswoman Giffords. He still finds a way to communicate and make a global impact using computer assisted synthetic communications. Few say he is not qualified for Newton's chair because he is disabled. Gabby will be back and will find a way to do her job.

Gabby is one of members of Congress who shed her blood and almost gave her life for Arizona and America. We where all there because we were begging her not to vote for Obama Care, she was flooded with thousands of emails in protest of Obama Care however she chose to ignore the will of the people Tucson needs a leader who will listen to the will of the people. I voted for Gabby in the past and believe she did a great job prior to the shooting. If she is healed enough to continue to represent us, then I would like to see a video of that, not a video of work prior to the shooting. I would vote for her again if she can do the job. However, if she can't do the job by this point, it is doubtful that she will improve enough to do it in the future, and she should step aside so that we can be actively represented. The nation is at a critical juncture.

Rep. Giffords has been a tremendous representative for Southern Arizona. While she recovers, her office staff has continued to provide outstanding constituent services. I call her office recently when I needed help with a problem I was having with my Social Security . We need to continue to have the sensible, independent voice of reason that the Congresswoman provides, in Congress, now more than ever.

If it were a video showing that she's doing something daily now on our behalf, that would be acceptable, but its not. She either needs to start getting the work done or step aside.
