I was at the beach one night and began to look up in the sky. A few minutes later two UFOs, out of our atmosphere, were flying toward each other and then stopped. One of them suddenly got bright and stretched into a long rod with a ball at the end, and then it disappeared. It looked a lot like that one. Great video.

Last comment, and it is about the strange ball of light that appears in the same intervals at the same distance below the object.. And it is increasingly strange that there is somewhat of a double image when the object nears the edge of the screen.

What is also interesting is the greenish hue given off by the object but the real reason why i double-posted is the fact that the puffs always appear where the balls of light do on the object and it always appears like a process, moving from the back of the object to the front always in the same places... Now I almost beg you to have it examined, haha.

What i find most interesting is the succession of cloud like puffs that look like contrails, perhaps sonic booms? but there is no sound of it which is very strange as sonic booms are very loud... And the ball of light on the object moving from the back of the object to the front over and over is also very strange... very interesting footage. The object that almost hit us one night was around 3 or 4 feet long. It had multi colored lights traveling from end to end,. I have gone there a couple of times and tried to get pictures, but it always happens so fast that I can't get it. This is an incredible shot. Maybe I should take a video and just spend a couple of hours. As many times as I've seen the thing, I should be able to capture it at some point. Thanks for your response.

The first time I saw it my daughter was driving and it came within a foot or two of our windshield. We thought it was going to hit us. We see it all the time on HWY 2 going towards Columbia Falls. all in all buddy, you filmed a airplane or jet. You can tell by the ticks of light every 2-3 seconds. Those are the navigation lights on the plane. Also this path is pure straight like a plane, this is really nothing irregular at all, just an extended exposure effect, looks cool though.

I believe in UFOs but this is almost definitely an airplane. A camera without night vision operates at a longer shutter speed/ larger aperture. Due to the longer shutter speed, a moving object will appear to "streak" as this has. If you have a camera & a tripod, you can create the same effect by putting your camera on bulb & taking a picture of an airplane at night. Sorry UFO enthusiasts, this is almost definitely an airplane.

how much interval is between the two successive frames? it appears to have a point light as a beacon that propagates throughout its length periodically just like an airplane? also what is the exposure settings used for each frame?

also note down the area of sky you spotted and direction of travelling like east-west etc. and observe the same area on another night at same time you should see it. i personally don't think it is meteor or airplane. so it is actually an Unidentified Flying Object UFO

My guess would still be some kind of aircraft... Doing night timelapse, you have relatively long exposure times, so flashing navigation lights turn up as bright spots on a long line - which is obviously occurring here. You can tell it's a regular flashing because the space between spots is fairly even. Not sure about lack of sound though? Altitude/wind direction/type of aircraft would alter how well you hear it on the ground...

@jtpfreak Youre welcome :-) I think a really good example of the "long exposure" UFOs was the one seen in China recently. There were solid white and red lines, with evenly spaces red dots alongside. There was even an "eerie" fan of white light shining down. Id put money on the fact that it was some kind of helicopter with searchlight :-) Im sure there are pics on the net or even YouTube... It's a good example of the kind of thing I think we are seeing here :-)
