The country-the world is going CRAZY about him selling this seat. Sheeesh-that's everyday stuff. Look a little deeper.

He was working to have journalist fired.  He was shaking down the head of the CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL for money...and if not given what he wanted, Ol' Rod/Elvis was going to block funding for the sick kids.

This guy was INCREDIBLY corrupt... the senate seat? That's small potatoes compared to everything ELSE he was involved with. Check it out!

Folks... I'm from Chicago (so though I am not an AUTHORITY...I KNOW Illinois Politics- lived with it all my life!)

This IS the way Chicago and Illinois work. The politicians- some in law inforcement. You know the term: "I gotta guy in _______." It's how politicians start conversations. It's how business is done here. The law, construction, business.

This conversation doesn't surprise me at ALL. I used to wake up hearing my dad on the phone talking this way to guys.....

innocently, I would say to him, "Dad? Who would want to talk to you if you talk to them/treat them that way?" And he said, "Honey, it's ok, it's how it's done. No-one thinks anything of it."

Now, what *I* don't understand is how ANY-ONE thinks that Obama...who CAME from this, who was FORMED and MOLDED in this (because make NO doubt,he's been "MADE") is ABOVE or APART from this.

This IS Obama. This IS Rahm. This is ALL his Chicago/Illinois Cronnies, and NOW...it's the presidency and the U.S.

I think I was pretty clear in the description, and Joe Getty was pretty clear in the clip, that this transcript hasn't been officially confirmed as authentic by the federal prosecutor. You can believe it or not, I don't care and I doubt that Mr. Getty cares either.

I think you jump to some assumptions on that.

Sounds like Rom is a crook big time and setting Blago up. Sounds like maybe Blago has dirt on all of them. Even Obama. That transcript would convince me of nothing. There is something bigger at play here. Blago may not be a saint but I think this a political assasination maybe because he stood up to the banks?

I had nothing to do with voting any of this mess into office. And trust me I don't drink the kool aid. I do think they are all crooks. I just think Blago is stepping on big toes and has done nothing worse or even as close to as bad as these other jerks. I'm all about Ron Paul. So you know I didn't vote for Obama.
