I think it is Great that people have not forgotten Magoo he was a genuine person that loved racing till the day he left us. However currently Danny Magoo does not have a Headstone at his grave site where his fans, friends and Family can visit there hero please contact dannymagoo com or e-mail davegomez1618@ gmail com any contributions would be greatly appreciated Thank you International Riders Helping People.inc
I had the thrill of seeing magoo win all 4 motos of the motocross and trophy des nations in person in 1982.Ialso got the jersey he wore in the first moto.It was a thrill i will never forgetHe was the best in the world for those two weeks and nobody can argue that.
Magoo was the pioneer of the double jump. The Pastrana of his day. The story Lackey told of the Superbikers race was very funny- classic bench racing. Got to see Danny race at the Mammoth Mountain Motocross. Just for fun and money. he was sooooooo faaaast.
Danny was the best. It was amazing to see him racing supercross out there with the big guys. Danny was a local, and the raced the local races. Then, all of a sudden, he made it into the big leagues. It was just incredible to see that happen.
Grew Crew, Nothing was cut, this was all the footage I recieved from the event. There wasn't a News Crew from a National TV station there and a Program Director cut something out. A friend of mine took this footage with a Digital still camera on motion mode. I'm sorry your favorite part was not in the video, but I wasn't there and this was all I recieved.
Say how come Chris Grewer/ Donny Cantalupie:s interview was cut ????? Well I guess maybe there not world champions... Dammmm because I thought they had alot to contribute.
To anyone here who may not know, check out DeCoster's story. He actually died and returned to life after a head on during a GP, during warmup, I think. He was pronounced DEAD. And there he is... and then he won the world title - again!
Danny was from my Northern CA neighborhood, he was a little younger than me, but my cousin rode and hung with him. Sorry I has died too early. Oh, knew Brad too, on the track with him at a local - once. Nice to see everyone!
man, i didn't know that Danny died. Danny was one fast guy on a bike. He came to Utah, years ago to ride. I never understood why he was in UTAH. But, watching him ride was amazing, FEARLESS best describes it.
what happened to the trophies that chris and steve grewer presented ?
Magoos 1982 trophies denations Who has them now ? Magoo loved chris and confided in him in ways only they new. Yes we will always remember magoo the Grewcrew.
young riders today need to understand these people are legends you are looking at and listening to....you need to save this...having Roger Decoster talk about you would be AMAZING...racing i took Dannys name and had it on the back of my riding pants "MAGOO" ..i raced desert...in the 80's 90's..these guys are the best people..great job helping Danny...to all that helped thank you....
A wonderful thing to do ; remembering our friends departed , Brad and Roger are still champions...good human beings. In the end thats all that counts .
Thank you for posting this. I saw danny race only once at Prairie City. I've never seen any person so completely outclass every other competitor in my life. Danny lapped every rider, even second place. He was jumping over people who were already in mid-air. I'll never forget it.
All heart and never to be repeated! Thanks for posting this, loved it!
