I like the new twist of making Freddy innecent in the begining and having him falsly accused and burned alive. Alot of people don't like this but I think this bring alot more dept to his character and makes for alot more darker Freddy just what I was waiting for.

But the interesting thing with Jackie Earle Haley is his portrayal of Freddy Krueger will give a twist and im sure more backstory to the character. This will be a good movie because the guy playing freddy played roasch in Watchmen which was awesome. And I do not like to compare the originals to the new ones because it is hard to scare kids now days because people like freddy exist today, and unlike in the 70s and 80s when people actually could come up with ideas instead of stealing them.
