  • damn how did you do that billie jean mix so clean!? Did you cue it up twice or something?

  • @filipinorice Man, this was a loooong time ago lol. I think that Billie Jean just had a long outro and I looped in Sexyback. Thanks for watching man and keep singing brother.

  • @musicaledge Wow haha! Dang alright so you just let billie jean play out till the natural outro and looped in sexy back? Its such a clean mix.

  • great set up dude, but how do you mix without your head phone over your ears???

  • He has one over his ear.

  • Dude awesome job. I'm just wondering, what are the name of those tiny moving heads? They're awesome. Sweet setup.

  • Thanks dude. They are the Chauvet Min Wash. They work great for weddings and small dance floors. They also make a Min Spot, which has gobos. Both are LED and pretty cheap.

  • great vid..gave me some ideas4 mixing tracks:)

  • Great video! Love the scrolling on the bottom of the screen. I'm looking to invest in better video editing software (I used Windows Movie Maker to make my promo vid.... yea... I know..). Curious, what video editing software did you use to make this video?

    Thank you,

    Terry

  • Thanks for watching Terry. I use Adobe Premiere Elements to edit. It's pretty cheap and gets the job done for us amateurs :)

  • Wow awsome start with Beatmixing!! Have you tried Mixing without a computer?

  • Thanks man. Yes I have tried mixing w/o a computer. I can hit the downbeats but still struggle a bit when the bpms start floating. Still trying to perfect the art :)

  • nice job! ... crowd reading is good too you now!!! good job mix man

  • Awsome Job I am A DJ as well And I fucking rock that shit man U should Hire me on and you see what I mean!!!

    Dj Xclusivo

  • You hit the nail right on the head! Good Job bro!

  • Absolutely awesome video Jeff!

  • The fade-in/fade-out style DJ is of the past! I agree that seamless mixing allows for a whole new experience for the wedding crowds. I think you can even incorporate "cheesy" tunes in a whole new, fresh way. It keeps my clients with an open mind to tunes they may have dismissed at first glance. Keep it up!

  • i like your style

  • Great job man. Beatmixing = proper way to do it!!!

    -Drew

  • nice mixing bro like the setup up its all very clean an appealing awesome job

  • Nice mixing great camera location. That's how you do it. nice nice mixture of genre's. way to read the crowd.

  • That is how a proper party can and should be done, with an awesome crowd/great tunes/keeping them on the dance floor/and most importantly throughly entertained!!! Would give 10 stars if allowed!!!

  • Very Nice and nice setup

    Way to go

    Thanks DJ Mikey Mike

  • Thanks dude! I just picked up 10 Rain 56's so I can copy you haha. Also, you're video about the brackets on the 38's brackets saved me from making a huge mistake! So thanks for all you do!
