I have to say that you should have added lard or shortening and baking powder..... also.... How well did they actually come out? Tortillas generally bubble up when they cook and your dough honestly looked like it had too much water. I dont want to sound harsh or mean.... please forgive me if I do.... I am just wondering... also, it is pronounced TOR-TI-YA hehe just thought you should know, though I am sure you already do... hehe :)

I agree with sambo, but I do not think he really cared if he was doing everything right. The recipe was fine just a lack of not knowing what to do. His recipe is basically a New Mexico tortilla wich is lighter and one of the best if you know what you are doing.
