  • was this theatre royal nottiingham?

  • I don't think it's rushed. It sounds about the same tempo as the original cast album from the 60's.

  • the song was waaayyy to rushed.

  • The set was so gorgeous and accurate. The costumes, even moreso. Then the way it was pulled off ruined it all... they were all, "WOOO! I'M SO HAPPY TO BE A MALNOURISHED WORKHOUSE LAD WITH SCURVY!" Waahhh.

No girls in Fagin's gang or Workhouse our dances for the play look a lot like the Oliver celebration ones on Youtube. Can't wait to post ours. I am really 13 years old and I'm am playin Charlie and a workhouse.

  • ha i was in this =] ed pinker, what a fatty! was such a good production.

  • @04gribblej the baillie players are doing this play in school thru out florida, lousiana, south carolina, and north carolina.

    w w w . baillie players . c o m

  • lol we did Oliver with my theater company and there were benches on the sides of the tables and in part of the dance someone had to stand on one of them and it tipped up sending half the cast into hysterical giggles as we got off the stage!

  • My skul did dis show !!!N d guy he played oliver was soooo cute!!!:):):)

  • can i ask how old were u there i just wanna no lmao

  • Oh never, I've seen hundreds of pictures of workhouses in the 19th century and every lad and gal has filthy, disgusting feet.

  • yh we did have make up on our feet for most shows, but abvously not this one =]

  • good all around, but the thing i've noticed in every staging of oliver i've seen is that for a group of boys in a workhouse everyone seems to have very clean feet

  • Unless you've inspected the soles of their feet, that's an unfair comment. It is very easy for the top to be relatively clean while the bottom is black with filth.

  • The sisnging is pretty good, and I'd watch more clips of this if you have them, but it seems as though the choreographers were trying to hard to copy the movie.

  • yh, i can get some more clips up. =] and yh its does kinda look like the film, but it looks good =]

  • oops this is NOT the play i was in sorry!

  • i was in that ha ha it was fun ohh but ellis was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo evil!!!!!!! hey this is not old i was a girl in this oh and soo was my friend do u remember me i'm simone remember molly and reiss and ross i remember you i remember your name but i won't say it incase you don't want me to

  • No offense but your all lads bring in the girls we are just as capable to act as boys and yes i do no this film is about orphan boys but i would have cast some girls as well

  • There are some girls in there aswell =] with wigs on :) you can spot them if you look carefully :)

  • sorry the camera work is a bit dodgey :S, i didnt do it
