using peak metering to adjust your levels? maybe to make sure its not clipping, but peak metering is NOT reliable at all when it comes to perceived volume. all it shows you is the loudest peaks of your audio.
I noticed you mentioned that you can adjust the level of the recording before it's burned. How do you do that? You also mentioned that the information will be written in order to get the titles read on itunes, etc. I tried that, but was unsuccessful. How do you do that too?
5:30 into the video you mention the CD track names and titles would be import over to Itunes after burning the CD. I have not been able to do this for years. Besides if this is possible why do you need to be online to import CD names and titles.
@olidurant Hi, let us know if there's anything you'd like more info on regarding Waveburner or any other mastering suite. We'd be happy to help any way we can.
Basic info and useful but the weird thing is ... after the slick intro, the sound for the actual tutorial is very muddied. Huh ? I would think you'd EQ that a bit better ?
Very useful. Our sound engineer had to drop out because of family issues so now I am stuck with assigning my amateur skills to our recordings. These types of videos will hopefully allow me to do a passing job. Thank you so much for your time!
@dsptetrahidrops Yes you are definitely right. There is tons more to take into consideration. This tutorial is if you have done all of those other steps eq, compression, etc and you are ready to take your tracks and put the on a CD.
Talk to you soon and let me know if you come across anything music production wise. Questions, comments, ideas, etc.
Thanks for this Justin. Super helpful. However, I'm still not understanding how automation works in WB. Any idea how to set up volume envelopes so that you can fine-tune the gain within each track? Thanks!
Thank you to everyone for the positive feedback and checking out the video. I love how with waveburner its real easy to get a full cd done quick! Please let me or anyone of the people at winksound know if you have any questions comments, or ideas for us. Talk to you guys soon!

really good, but mastering is not that simple, that is only getting the volume up.
