Camtasia 5.0 vs Captivate 3:

While recording your application's screens, can you capture a "talking-head" with audio as a PIP (Picture in a Picture) like Camtasia 5.0?

If yes, does Captivate 3 support a DV camcorder's firewire while you create the talking-head and can you render your video as a WMV (Windows Media Video) as opposed to a Flash file.

Great overview of the product! I do have one question though. Does Captivate 3 record PC screens like a popular competitor product Camtasia from Techsmith? If it does not, I would like that to be built into Captivate 4 when it releases or possibly be an update. If it has that option, I would buy Captivate 3's update. Keep up the great work!

Yes it does. I use Captivate 3 for soft skills training (i import flash animations, create questions and interactions) and also for system training. You can capture different modes at once, eg you can do a system simulation and capture it as a 'try it' and a 'show me' at the same time which is useful.
