I couldn't agree more! I made this cover a while ago now when I had just got into the FL and the general music making scene. My latest stuff is way better but it was fun to make these covers anyhow :)
So, dude. I have been listening to your covers and I have to say they are really good! It's inspiring me to start making songs and covers with the autotune effect. So, as I may ask, What type of mic do you use? Laptop? Usb? Please Reply as soon as possible! Thank you!
It's good to hear that I've inspired you. My recording equipment is very very basic, and it consists of just a mid range laptop with 3gb memory and record with a Samson co1u microphone.
I do keep getting asked about my set up so I think I might create a video that explains what I do, would that benefit you in any way?
Lol cool, well if it works for you then that's cool! I used to use Mixcraft for most of the songs on here, but I've recently moved to Adobe Audition which is just a little more professional and can get quite good recordings of vocals and guitar especially with my mic.
For the instrumentals and composing side of things, I generally use various vst plugins in FL Studio.
I may have a go next week at making some sort of guide yea.
@mindfreak2038 thats what i used to do until i baught a usb fasttrack interface, i still have to use mixcraft because i dont have enough ram for pro tools

your the one who has to use autotune that shit can make a baby crying sound like its singing and last time i checked werent there 2 different pitches for marks and toms part
Autotune is used by most people in the music industry, or something similar. Don't know if you noticed, but that is why singing sounds much better on albums and singles than on live shows. Quite obvious really, but I thought someone like you would need that pointing out seeing as you're being a miserable sod.
So have a go at every other singer for using a vocal programme.
If you don't mind my asking... What is the name of the autotune you are using?? Also, are you using midi plugins to manipulate the pitch, or did you tweak the knobs just so? I use gsnap (rubbish) and am looking for a better vocal program... I also have Voxformer, which is a simple filter/compressor for vocals. Good covers, m8.
I used Antares Auto Tune and I just tweaked the knobs and set the key to the key I was singing in. I will make a tutorial on what settings I use soon I think.
Yeah, I've used gsnap before and I wasn't impressed, might be worth using Antares Auto Tune instead.
What is Voxformer like? I've never used that before.
Thanks for the prompt reply... Voxformer is INCREDIBLE... Great for enhancing vocals, cleaning up pops and hisses (if you have that issue). I use it with a multi-band compressor inside FL studio... I think I'll try the Antares... I'll let you know how I like it! Thanks dude, and keep up the amazing work.
Well, whatever you're using works. I'm pretty impressed with the covers. A lot of people try to do them exactly like the orig. which kind of defeats the purpose. I like how you made it your own, rather than just making a copy. 5 stars for the cover, another 5 for the info on software. I'd like to ask more if that's possible... Send me a message on my channel if you have AIM or Yahoo or something. Cheers, M8

i really like the idea of your cover, but the sounds aren´t the best.
i as a fl studio user hear the standard drum samples that come with the prog and the bass is standard, too.
but i like it! 5*

But will you do that? It would help me, and many others out A-LOT! Thank you!

Yeah? I'll give it a go then. I currently use Guitar Rig to enhance vocals and stuff.
Yeah :) let me know. Stick around too, I'll be posting some new videos soon once I find some time :)

Downloaded the cracked version of Antares. It is incredible. Now I've got to get a firewire mic, and get rid of this USB one.
Subscribed to your channel. X_o

I guess I just don't like MY USB mic.
I've just heard better things about fire wire.
